The receptacle had the faintest vibration ripple through the remaining c'nlip.
The snow muffled the rubber. Almost impacting and creating an ill-fated light show. Beeps sounded to deaf ears. The bag falling to the ground was silent in the frozen cushioned expanse. Their breathing was steady. Her chest rising and falling aided him in deep sleep. Her heart beat the only sound needed. The ethanol burned through their veins. His physiology working expeditiously over hers.
Silent steps gave way to creaking ones. The lock pick quietly entering the keyhole abruptly woke him. He stilled. He listened. He growled lowly. She slept. Scars vision searched. Heat signatures located and targeted. He moved. He looked up at her. His heart constricted. He untangled himself from her bound arms. She mumbled and cooed in her drunken sleep. Scar muffled her sounds. She woke slightly, feeling him touch her. She moaned beneath his hand. Her thoughts remembered his promise to ravish her. Scar held her mouth, reached for the comforter and pulled it up tightly around her body. She woke, looking at him. Even in the darkened room she could see his expression was grave.
Lex tried to speak but he silenced her with fierce clicking and trilling. "Silence. No noise." He clicked quickly. His Yautja was guttural and direct. He grabbed her wrists and hauled her up. She gasped. His head snapped to her. "Quiet..." He looked at the floor to his gauntlet. It was beeping and flashing red. He quickly picked it up and secured it to his arm. Scar reached in the drawer and pulled her gauntlet out. He clamped it around her right wrist. He reached for another item, one Lex had never seen.
Scar yanked her from the bed. She was sick. Her stomach flipped and her heart raced. She didn't understand what was happening. He carried her to the wardrobe. The heat signatures were still fiddling with the door. Scar sat her on the wardrobe floor and kneeled down to her. "Scar.... What's wrong? Please tell me. I'm afraid! What's happening?" "Intruders, 2 of them. Stay here." "What? Where?" She asked, whispering through nausea. "Front door. They are attempting to break in." "What, Scar, let me help you." Scars head jerked towards her, resulting in his tendrils flying in a broad arch. He tilted his head in frustration.
"NO. STAY HERE! DO NOT MOVE FROM THIS WARDROBE!" He whispered. His voice sounded deadly.
"Scar, please..." He growled at her fiercely. A growl she'd never heard before. She jumped back from him. Scar activated her cloaking shield. She watched him. "They cannot see you. Do not move from this room." "Scar let me...." "Alexa, I am not pauking asking you. I am telling you. Do what I say!" Lex began to cry. He felt for her face and touched her mark. He grazed her face with his mandibles. "I love you." He told her quickly before standing. He closed the door and Lex felt herself falling apart.
Scar went for his mask. He changed viewing fields. He could see they were both male. He placed on his chest plate and waited. They entered the cabin. Scar cloaked, entered the hallway and listened. Lex freed her bindings. She couldn't let him fight alone. She reached up and grabbed a long knitted dress. Scar observed them. They had multiple weapons. One had a gun in his hand. "You sure she's here?" "Yes...this is the cabin." "I'll subdue her and then we'll have a little fun." "I'm going first." "The hell, I saw her first. I'm going first." They whispered. Scar began to shake. Fury on the surface. "Maybe back this way..." Scar moved closer. He was going to kill them and take several trophies.
Lex slowly left the wardrobe. She couldn't hear Scar, other voices or any commotion. She was cloaked. She stood absolutely still. They approached the bedroom. "She has to be in here. You tie her up and gag her." "She looks like a fighter, you hold her down." Lex heard their voices. She silently gasped and put her hand over her mouth. Scar was barely breathing. He'd never felt such anger.
Fear set in to her bones. Scars vision was bathed in blood. He wanted to kill them 3 times over!
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" "What the hell? Dave, what the fuck is going on?" Dave began firing. He fired several rounds into Scars chest. Scar roared, he ripped the armor from his body and hit Dave in his face with it. Scar roared again and it shook the rooms. Lex felt it in her limbs.
