Ohmysweetgoodness I couldn't wait to get out of that class.
As soon as the bell rang I was sprinting towards the door, leaving Chase behind with his adorable smirk.
This is way to hard. All the feels and list driven thoughts are driving me crazy.
Turning the corner fast I ended up slamming into a hard, cold chest.
A warning shiver ran down my spine as the boy touched my arm, "Slow down there Nora."
I huffed at the nickname, "Sorry, Reed. I'll be careful next time."
Reed gave me a wicked grin as I backed away from his touch.
Smiling I tried sidestepping him but nearly ran into him again, "I got something to ask ya."
I locked eyes with his, "Yes?"
"You busy tonight?" He asked cooly as he stuffed his hands in his front pockets and leaned against a locker.
"Tonight? Uhm, not really. Why?"
"Wanna go to a party?"
My mouth nearly dropped, "Uh what kind of party? Parties aren't really my thing."
Reed snorted, "Okay, not a party but a small get together. I swear it's just a get together."
I sighed and crossed my arms, "I don't know."
Reed rolled his eyes, "You don't have a choice." He pushed off the locker and leaned down against my ear, "Wear something nice."
I shivered as he backed away and walked past me.
What have I gotten myself into?
~~
I looked at my reflection. My black hair cascaded down my back and over my shoulder in its normal waves. Applying minimal makeup I decided on a simple dress with a cardigan and heels.
I nodded at myself and smiled, I haven't got this dressed up in a while. Twirling once in the mirror I patted my dress down and left my room just in time to hear a car honk.Nerves hit me then causing my hands to shake. This will be the first high school party I've ever been to and am beginning to think that this party will be exciting due to the supernaturals.
Deciding on not bringing. Purse I quickly walked out of the house, locking it behind me.In my driveway sat a black corvette. Oh goodness.
Making my way to his car Reed stepped out to greet me, "You look lovely." He complimented as he hooked his arm with mine leading me to the passenger door.
"Thank you." I giggled as he opened my door and gestured for me to get in.
Sitting down and smiled at Reed to tell him thanks as he shut the door and came around to the drivers side, getting in with ease.
Backing out of our driveway he took off in the opposite direction of town, "Uhm. Where is this party?" I asked trying to hide my nervousness.
Reed grinned, "It's kind of deep in the woods. There will be a bonfire and everything. Don't worry," he said at the look on my face, "It'll be a nice night."
He reached out and patted my bare knee.
Not liking the shiver his contact sent me I moved my knee away and looked out the window, "Okay."
Reed grinned wickedly and pressed on the gas, turning on the radio to my favorite music.
Good ole hard rock.
"I love this song!" I gushed as I perked up and turned up the radio.
"I know I've been mistaken but just give me a break and see the changes that I've made. I've got some imperfections but how can you collect them all and throw them in my face! But you always find a way...to keep me right here waiting!"
