Today has went by rather strange. I'm not used to second glances thrown my way, but oddly enough as I walked the halls werewolves have been looking back at me, as if trying to get a good look.
It hits me sometime during the day that any of the male werewolves could have saved me last night. Curiosity is my main emotion towards it and then embarrassment hits me. I mean, I did pet him behind the ears.
As I walk into my last period class I can't help but feel a little cautious towards the fact that this class is full of werewolves. I make sure to not make eye contact with any wolves as I make my way to my seat. Slumping my bag on the floor I take my seat and lay my head on the table.
Ohgoodness I can feel eyes on me.
I jumped as I felt someone tap my shoulder, strong jolts of pleasure ran from my shoulder to my heart.
"You alright?" An angelic, deep voice asked.
I looked up and came face to face with black eyes. I scooted back a little bit. After I did so I had the urge to scoot even closer.
"Uhm yeah. Just-uh-just tired." I mumbled.
Chase shook his head and replaced his concerned look with a crooked grin, "I'm sure the teacher wouldn't mind if you fell asleep in class. I could hide you from her view."
I smiled, "That's okay. I can stay awake."
Chase nodded his head again and took the seat next to me.
Ohmysweetgoodness.
Chase smirked as I hung my mouth open, "You don't mind me sitting here do you?"
I quickly closed my mouth, "No."
"Good. I wasn't gonna leave anyway."
I roll my eyes and looked towards the teacher. Chase scooted his chair closer to me and laid his arm on the back of my chair, just as Reed did. But instead of feeling intimidated I felt as if he was doing this in an protective manner.
I leaned back against his arm.
From the corner of my eye I see Chase grin.
"Okay class, today we will speak of the human body. And, well...human like bodies."
Creatures smirked and looked at the few other humans in the room who gulped.
Chase snorted and leaned his head towards me, whispering in my ear, "They think they run this town."
"More like they think they run the way us humans live." I whispered back, turning my head towards him. I see now that his black eyes are more of a coal-like color. His cheekbones look as if they're sculpted to perfection and his hair is messily styled.
How have I not noticed he looked like perfection?
Realizing what I was doing I slightly moved over and looked back to his eyes. Which were studying my own face.
Maybe I fascinate him too.
Butterflies are in my stomach as I think of what might be going through his head.
Chase looked back up at me, "You act as if you're afraid of me Annora."
The way he said my name made me shiver.
I gulped and put a little space between us. I wasn't necessarily afraid of him, I felt safe around him. But, knowing what werewolves could do to us humans scared me a lot. Along with all of the other creatures in this town.
Chase moved a piece of hair out of my eyes, "Annora?"
In this moment I was so glad we were seated in the back of the class, "I'm not afraid."
He leaned closer, "Than how do you feel? Safe? Protected?"
Jackpot.
"Uhm..."
Chase leaned back in his chair and placed his hands behind his head. My eyes shot to his well defined biceps. Mmm. I imagined my hands gripping onto them as he held me, leaning down to kiss-
Woah, what am I thinking? This is the first time I've actually had a conversation with him.
"What do you think?" I finished.
Chase shrugged, "I don't have to think, because I know."
I gulp as he leans towards my ear, "What kind of guy do you think I am."
"A bad boy." I quickly said. Blush rising to my cheeks.
Chase grins against my ear, "Bad boys do it better."
I just exploded.
