"I need your army." I said to Gabriel, standing up from my seat.

Gabriel chuckled, "Your mother told me the exact same thing, well for you," He stood from his chair and began walking towards the front door of his house, "I've been training my men for years just for this battle. And I trust you, my supernatural hunters will not disappoint." He opened his front door and motioned me out, "Now you need to get home before an angry Alpha gets there first."

As soon as I stepped foot out of Chase's car Am's fingers wrapped around my forearm and drug me out, "Luke told me they were ten minutes out. Says that Chase is expecting you to be in his room."

I followed Am into the pack house where she quickly grabbed Chase's shirt off the floor and threw it to me, "Strip! There's no one in this house and Luke is awful with estimating. They're probably pulling in right now!"

I quickly tore of my jacket, jeans and boots and pulled his shirt over my head, his scent instantly consuming me. Am grabbed my hand once again and pulled me up the stairs. I followed obediently, "Didn't know your father was a warrior."

Am paused for a second then continued up the stairs, "He is, and I feel awful because I never picked up the profession. How many damn steps are in this house!"

I laughed and tore my arm from her grip, "Relax. I'll sense Chase before he ever pulls in."

"Before who pulls in?" A deep voice said from the bottom of the stairs.

I froze and stared wide eyed at Am who gave me the same look. She connected eyes with someone behind me and trotted down the steps to I assume was Luke. I slowly turned around and looked at Chase.

His dark hair was tousled on top of his head from the cold wind outside and his muscles were bulging out from under his shirt. I motioned for him to follow me upstairs.

He said something to Luke over his shoulder who took Aniniti's arm and led her towards their room.

I swayed my hips as I climbed the staircase trying to distract Chase from his anger. He growled lowly on his throat and his breath was at my ear, "Stop. Or I won't have any other choice but to take you here now, hard."

I gasped at his words, anticipation itching it's way up me. My palms became sweaty and a blush was rising its way up my neck and onto my cheeks. I quickly opened the bedroom door with my shaky hands and then made my way towards our bed, that was still unmade.

Chase shut the door behind him and locked it. His broad shoulders were facing me and he was breathing hard. I could see his claw retracting from his fingers.

"Chase?" I whispered.

His growl was animalistic, "Don't say my name like that. Like you don't know why I'm mad."

I closed my mouth and sat on the bed, staring at my fingers, "I'm sorry."

Chase was in front of me within a blink of an eye. His muscular chest was rising up and down from his heavy breathing and his eyes were turning a dark red. He grabbed the back of my neck with his large hands and tilted my head up towards him, "Why'd you leave the house when I told you specifically not to?"

"I-I-" I gulped at his growing red eyes and scowl on his face.

"My car, that I left in the garage, was in the driveway with its door wide open." He growled as I tried to look away from him, "Your scent was all over it."

I shook under his hot touch, feeling his frustration and anger. He had never been this angry around me, especially towards me and it began go scare me, "I had to talk with someone."

"Yes I know," Chase snarled, "Gabriel the warrior."

My eyes widened, "How'd you know?"

Chase released my neck but remained standing in front of me, "I have my ways."

I had the urge to reach out to him and just touch him, so he wouldn't snap at me like this, "Did he-"

"Yes he told me everything and I don't like it."

"But it's the only way to stop this mess! He's destined to help us, to help me." I protested, rising to my feet and just reaching Chases chest.

"I don't want you involved in this war." He said, growling at me.

I poked his chest, "Stop growling at me like I'm not your mate."

Chase's face fell a little and his eyes began to return to its normal black. He reached out and gripped my waist, pulling me into his chest. My arms laid against his chest as our lower regions were pressed together, intensifying my arousal.

"I'm not trying to, mio amore." He said, placing a kiss at the top of my head, "I just don't like the thought of you fighting."

I whimpered. It was my destiny to do this, I knew because of my story book. My mother prepared for this war the moment I was born. I wasn't going to let my parents down.

"I'm doing this for my parents. You can fight with me, or against me."

Chase growled once again and changed our position to where I was flat on my back on the bed. He climbed on top of me and placed his knee between my legs, hovering over me, "You should know the answer to that."

I blushed at the intimate position and unconsciously gripped his large bicep. I inspected him as he hovers over me. His neck was sporting my own love bites causing me to groan in appreciation. Chase's dark hair was piled on top of his head messily, his eyes red with exhaustion. I looked at me hand on his bicep, light scratches were scattered there. Evidence of what happened during our first time. I moaned at the memory and at the way Chase was looking at me now, "Chase."

Chase groaned and placed his head in the crook of my neck. I wrapped my legs around his long torso and tangled my fingers in his hair. Chase relaxed then, placing some of his weight on me but not enough to crush me. He moaned as I tugged his hair, "Chase my mother wanted this. She wouldn't want me to fight if she didn't think I was capable of winning."

The sun began to set and darkness filled out bedroom, casting shadows and light along Chase's body. Defining his muscles even more now. I bit my lip to contain a noise from escaping my lips.

"I understand," Chase suddenly whispered, "Just let me talk to Gabriel first."

I giggled with excitement and lifted Chase's head from my neck. I peppered multiple kisses on his face as he scrunched up his nose, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

Chase groaned and pushed me back down on the bed. He smirked and lifted his shirt over his head, tossing it behind him. I gasped as I saw his breathtaking muscles and battle scars. Although I've witnessed it before it still didn't phase to take my breath away. I ran my fingers over his abdomen, tracing his hard muscles. Chase shivered under my touch causing a blush from me.

"Don't act shy now babe. We got a whole night ahead of us." Chase said crashing his lips to mine.
