Death>>>^^^

The feeling of being away from Chase anymore than I currently was, was killing me.

After meeting with...Death, he sent me off in the direction towards Chase. But, trees began to look the same, puddles began blending and my head was pounding from not having a drink of water or a bite of food. The only thing that kept me going was Chase. Chase. Chase. Chase.

I repeated his name in my head multiple times as if he would appear in front of me and take me in his strong arms. Just the thought of his strong, calloused hands holding me tight and his warm, plump lips kissing me, and his faint groans as we made love.

Damn. I am having Chase withdrawals. He is like my drug.

He is your drug. My mind yelled at me.

Death had yoked me that Chase had changed drastically sense I got taken away. He told me Chase sees nothing but darkness unless he's thinking about me...or thinks he sees me.

Thoughts have ran through my head all day about my reuniting with Chase. Would he be surprised? Or would he thinks it's a mind trick? Has he turned a little mad? Like me?

The thought of Chase living through complete hell without me had myself cringing and whimpering. I collapsed on the forest floor and tucked my head in between my knees. My heart broke at the thought of him. I had to get back and now. I groaned and lifted up my head, my body was weak and tired. I slowly stood to my feet...and that's when I heard it.

The distant sound of voices. The were masculine and one had me shivering.

Chase.

I took off in a sprint towards the voices. As I ran harder I saw a light, a lantern. Like the one Death had. My breaths came out in short heaves, I needed water. And I needed Chase. I saw the mans silhouettes in the lanterns light. The stopped when they finally saw me. Tears springer from my eyes when I caught a hold of Chase's black ones.

He looked just like I left him, yet his beard was growing and he had a slight sag to his shoulders. His eyes were still dark yet intriguing, but had a red rim around them, as if he hadn't slept in years. They held secrets and a lost love.

Chase dropped the lantern and began taking steps toward me. Luke remained behind him and picked up the fallen lantern. His face brightened as he saw me, a tear fell from his own eyes.

I ran the extra feet to Chase and jumped in his arms. His large hands gripped my waist as my legs wrapped around his torso and my arms going around his neck. I shoved my head in his chest and released my tears that I had held for this moment. Chase moved his hands to my back and gripped the sheer shirt I was still wearing of his.

In that moment I forgot about Ussicore and Death and dehydration. I forgot about dying and the thought of losing Chase. I forgot about my destiny, I forgot about my parents. Their death. My whole mind fell to one man: Chase.

Chase gasped into my shoulder as he cried himself. His strong hangs were gripping my shoulders and back. He was clawing at my skin like he never wanted to let go.

Luke came up behind me sometime during our reunion and placed a blanket around me. I whispered a thank you to him over Chase's shoulder. Chase hadn't let me go ever since we met, which was a good 5 minutes ago. As much as I wanted him to hold me, exhaustion came over me and I was ready to sleep.

I gripped Chases hair and pulled. He lifted his chest and looked at my dirty face and gave me a weak smile. I wiped a tear from his eyes and kissed his cheek, "I found you."

Chase let out a throaty groan and gripped me harder, "You found me."
