Psycho-Pass x Various Reader [a big collection]

.:Enforcer!Kogami x Inspector!Reader:. (Fluff - ONE SHOT)

This actually took me longer than expected, my sincerest apologies, reader-chans! :O
Basically, I was working on this one-shot for over a week and I couldn't grasp it .. it just sounded so staged and I did not want to post crappy work - so I gave it a whole different setting. Here is the final result! :)

I started working at the MWPSB as a new Inspector not so long ago. The first day in the office I was on my own with two Enforcers, Kagari and Kogami. Kagari informed me the minute I got through the door of an upcoming Halloween/Christmas party.
"What's that now?" -I was confused by the concept.
"We wanted to have a party for Halloween but bureaucracy..." -he sighed. "The Enforcers still want to make it a Halloween theme, but with so close to Christmas, we're going to compromise."
"And how is that gonna look?" -I asked turning my computer on.
"Imagine a bunch of zombies under a Christmas tree." -he said.
"Got it, thanks."
It will be the weirdest party ever, but since I am new and I wanna make a good first impression, maybe I should go and enjoy myself. I was thinking of what to wear, when someone else arrived.
I may have stared for longer than I intended, but I couldn't stop. I was drawn like a moth to a flame. He looked at me with his steel-like eyes and nodded. I nodded back with tainted cheeks.
That was the first time I've met Kogami...

As a last-minute resort for that party, I decided on no other than a school-girl outfit. It's cute, sexy and a costume. Kagari was right, there was a Christmas tree and there were a few people dressed as zombies. Weirdest party ever.
I was trying to bond with members from other Divisions as well as my own, when someone held my hand and spun me around, away from my group.
I had no idea who it was. He wore a mask and a wig. His costume appeared to be.. a vampire? He had a long, black cloak and white gloves. As if he was hiding from everyone.
"Who are..?" -I wanted to ask, but he just pressed his index finger against my lips.
We danced. A lot.
At the end of the song, he pulled me close, holding me by the waist. I let my hands snake around his neck. He kissed me. His lips were soft and tender. He knew what he was doing and he knew what he wanted. As he begged for entry, I parted my lips. Our tongues continued to dance without music. It was such a perfect kiss.
The clock stroke 12, and like in a fairy tale, the kiss was over, and the man has disappeared.
I stood there, smiling into space.
"Who was that?" -Kagari asked me.
"I have no idea." -I sighed. "But it was the best kiss I've ever had."

It's been a full month since. I was wrecking my head and for the life of me I couldn't figure it out who he was. He did such a good job hiding. But maybe I shouldn't look for him. -I thought. If he was serious, he should come forward, right? I better get over him. Let alone this obsession could affect my job, and why would I wanna get on Gino's wrong side already, it may affect my hue, too. I have to forget about him. -I nodded to myself.
This was my last night in the office before I headed off for a long weekend with my girlfriends. Before heading home, I wanted to finish off my report. I had time, but if I don't do it now, I will think of it during my time off and ruin my entire weekend.
Only I did not take it in consideration that it would take so long. I started at 8pm and it was almost eleven.
"Inspector (l/n)?" -Kogami came in the office. "What are you still doing here?"
"Report." -I sighed. "What about you?"
"Cigarettes." -he opened his drawer and picked up a half-empty box. "Come on." -he reached out his hand to me.
"Come where?" -I asked but took his hand anyway.
"Smoke."

I went to smoke with Kogami. I had a great relationship with him. After I got over my little crush on him, or at least learned how to deal with it as a professional, we hit it off. We weren't just colleagues but also became friends. I had struggles in my personal life and Kogami was the only person who knew about those. He didn't blab about worrying will cloud my hue. He gave me real advice. I loved that about him.
I tried to help him as well, but he wasn't the talker. He said to me once my presence is enough. He had a few drinks in him by then, so maybe he didn't mean it. Or maybe drunk people tell the truth. Anyway, I didn't want to think too much into it.

We were smoking on the balcony, looking over the cityscape, when Kogami asked me.
"I've seen you're off for a long weekend." -he blew out some smoke. "Where are you off to?"
"Just a spa getaway with my girlfriends." -I took a long drag.
"Wouldn't take you for a girly girl." -he said, shifting his eyes, trying to imagine me in a spa.
"I have my moments." -I took another long drag, finishing the cigarette. It was the middle of December, freezing cold and I was desperate to get back inside.
"Any news on your mad kisser?"
"No." -my cheeks flushed as I answered. "I wished I could find him, but now..."
"Yeah?"
"Maybe I should let this go."
"Why?"
"Honestly, Ko?!" -I scoffed. "If he was even slightly serious, he'd have come forward by now, don't you think? Ah, it doesn't matter, I just wanna get over him."
"You know how?"
"Get under him is out of the equation." -I said it out loud without giving it an inch of thought. Shit! "I-I mean..." -I covered my mouth.
"I wanted to say closure, but that's even better!" -Kogami chuckled and pulled me closer. "I'll show you who it was." -he whispered in my ear. I felt his warm breath on my skin. I was looking at him, not knowing what to expect. Both of his hands were resting on my lower back. Kogami leaned in, closing the small gap between us, and kissed me. I closed my eyes and gave in.
It was the same kiss I felt at the party. It was him.
Kogami was the one who kissed me at the party.
"It was you..." -my eyes sparkled.
"Can you forgive me for taking so long?" -he rubbed my blushing cheek.
"Under one condition."
"Sure, name it."
"Let's go inside, my nipples can cut glass!" -as flattered and happy I felt, I was on the brink of becoming a popsicle!
Kogami laughed and we walked back in the building. To his dorm, to be precise.

As I took off my coat, I could feel his hands snake around my waist from behind and he started kissing my neck. A small gasp escaped my throat.
"Did I just find your sweet spot?" -he nibbled on my earlobe.
"Oh, yeah!" -I turned around to kiss him. It was more passionate than on the balcony. I was waiting for this for a month! The tension was built, and I couldn't wait for release. We fell on his couch, Kogami first and I fell on him. I could feel his member in his pants. Rock hard! "Just one question..." -I gasped for air. I had to know something before I jump in, head first.
"Bad girl!" -he spanked my ass in a playful manner. I bit my lower lip. How does he know all my turn ons?
"Why did you wait so long to do this?" -I let my fingers play with his raven hair. He rested his hands around my ass, looking deep in my (e/c) eyes with his grey ones.
"I was afraid." -he replied.
"Afraid."
"Of course." -he helped me sit up. "I didn't know we were going to end up like this. I mean... you could have told me to fuck off."
"..."
"Romance ruins friendships." -he added. "I was afraid I'd lose you."
I was speechless. I never knew I meant this much to him. This is not a one-night stand or an adventure. This is something deeper.
I made my way to sit on his lap and hugged him as tight as I could.
"Thank you." -I muttered, placing a kiss on his cheek. "You won't lose me. I promise."
"Good. Because.... I love you, (f/n)." -he said, holding me tightly. He caught me off guard again!
"You what?"
"Don't make me repeat myself, silly! You heard me." -he let our noses touch. "If I didn't love you, I wouldn't care about losing you."
"I-I love you, too, Ko..." -I whispered, as my heart raced in my chest.
Kogami gave me a feather-light kiss.
"Shall we take it to the bedroom, then?" -he asked. I nodded without a word. He took my hand and I followed his lead. "Oh, and a little heads-up..."
"Okay?" -I frowned.
"I won't let you get over me." -Kogami winked at me.
"I wouldn't want it any other way." -I smiled and kissed him gently, which he turned into a passionate make-out session. And we didn't stop there...

Thank God I stayed late to finish that report!
