"How much longer do we have to walk?" Toby heard (Y/n) say behind him. He rolled his eyes at their question and ignored them. He couldn't believe he was stuck with the duty of bringing the survivor to the mansion. Why couldn't Max have done it? He's the one who found (Y/n) in the first place.

Toby and (Y/n) have been walking for almost two hours now and the sun was beginning to set. (Y/n) anxiously played with their necklace.

It was given to them by their parents when they were twelve and, even though they despise their parents, they have always loved the necklace and wear it all the time. The black string necklace had a light green crystal pendant on it that used to glow a little in the dark. However, lately, it doesn't seem to glow anymore. Not that (Y/n) cared, they love it either way.

Little did they notice, the color of the crystal almost perfectly matched their new eyes.

(Y/n) stopped fidgeting with their necklace and tried asking another question. "So how many people live in this so called mansion." They knew that they were being kinda sassy, but they didn't really care.

"Why d-do you a-ask so many questions?" He said not looking back at them.

"Anyways it's sorta c-complicated. There are p-permanent residents, then there a-are semi permanent residents.. m-meaning they have th-their own rooms but sometimes we w-won't see them for days, weeks, months, or e-even years at a time.. and th-then there are visitors who visit once in a w-while."

(Y/n) looked at Toby like he was crazy. He kept staring ahead, but he knew the look was there. "T-told you. Complicated."

How did it come to this? Not too long ago (Y/n) was graduating high school and planning for college. Now they're walking through a dark forest with a killer, on their way to stay at a mansion where a few other killers and supernatural beings live, all because they survived a radioactive explosion that destroyed everything they knew and loved?

(Y/n) suddenly realized how exhausted they were.

Toby continued. "Th-though, there's thousands upon thousands of other k-killers and supernatural b-beings all over the world wh-who have never even v-visited or lived there." He said smirking a bit under his mouth mask. While what he said was informative and true, he mainly just said it to freak them out.

"There's thousands upon thousands of things that go bump in the night? That's just.. great." (Y/n) said sarcastically with a hint of nervousness. They looked around at the forest. The sun was now completely down and streaks of moonlight shined down through the tree tops.

Toby's scare tactics were working, (Y/n) started to grow paranoid. "S-so.. who's this boss of yours?" They asked, trying to calm their nerves.

"He g-goes by many names, b-but the most popular o-one is Slenderman."

"And you're his proxy?"

"One o-of them, yeah."

"How many are there?"

"Including me, f-five. He had o-others, but it d-didn't work out." He paused a bit. "Max is a p-proxy, well, more of a part t-time proxy.. or a-a last resort." He said chuckling. Toby and Max were close, but they like to friendly make fun of each other from time to time.

(Y/n) nodded and started walking closer to Toby and for the first time since the sun went down, Toby looked at them. His walking came to a halt. (Y/n) stopped too, now slightly ahead of Toby. They sighed. "Why are we stopping? I still don't see a mansion anywhere." They said in a sassy tone.

Toby looked surprised and even somewhat scared behind his mouth mask and goggles. (Y/n) could only see the expression a little bit. "What?" They said.

"Y-your eyes.."
