"What about my eyes?.." (Y/n) asked nervously. Their heart felt like it was going a mile a minute.
Toby got closer looking at their eyes. (Y/n) eyes were giving off a soft glow, almost like a firefly. "Y-your eyes a-are glowing.. I didn't notice th-them before.. but it's a-almost as if they g-glow in the dark." Toby said, fascinated.
"What? No. That's impossible." (Y/n) said nervously. How could this be happening? First their eyes turn into a lime green color and now they are glowing? (Y/n) pushed Toby lightly. "Stop staring! Can we just keep moving... I'd like to at least pretend to be normal until we get there." Toby nodded, he understood where they were coming from.
After twenty minutes of walking in silence, Toby spoke up. "W-we are almost there. Just a-a little further." (Y/n) nodded, playing with their necklace again. Looking down, they noticed that it started glowing again. "What the.."
Toby turned towards them and saw the necklace. "D-does it always do that?" He asked, curious. "Yeah, but it stopped for a long time."
(Y/n)'s POV
I was so confused, but I kept walking because I was getting really tired.
All of a sudden, I was hit with a wave of nausea and my head started to ache and pound. I stumbled a bit, trying to keep going. My insides felt like they were boiling. Toby looked at me. "A-are you alright?" He seemed genuinely worried. "Yeah.. I'm good.." I said softly.
The head ache got worse. It felt like millions of knives were stabbing at my brain. Everything around me felt like it was spinning. Stoping to lean on a tree, my vision got blurry. The air around me got colder and Toby's muffled voice filled my ears but I couldn't make out what he was saying. My eyes slowly closed as I fell to the ground.
