I don't know where I am.
My bones ache,
I can't move,
I'm cold.
So very cold.
Am I unconscious?I don't know where I am..
I....No.. stay calm.
Retrace what happened.. remember.I said I'll go through with it.. then Slenderman, his proxies, and BEN took me to this lab. It was mostly abandoned, but Slender said that the scientists kept this lab away from the town in case something happened. Good thing they did.
Ugh.. but what else happened? Why am I so foggy?...
Oh, yeah! There was this glass chamber.. a radioactive chamber. BEN rewired it to activate more of my DNA... and then.. I got in.. and...darkness.. that's all I remember.
My bones ache.. What's going on? I.. I.. I'm so cold.
3rd Person POV
It's been five hours since (Y/n) stepped inside the chamber.A few of the proxies have left by now. Although they were reluctant, they had other things they had to do. Only two proxies stayed: Toby and Max. They were closer to (Y/n) than the other proxies so they were the most reluctant to leave. However only one person had to stay to watch the progress: Ben. He's the only one able to manipulate technology. However Max and Toby insisted that they stayed, for (Y/n)'s sake. Slenderman left too, telling the three to give him updates on what happens.
(Y/n) has been out cold for most of the five hours, after thirty minutes they seemed to have passed out. The three boys continued to watch over their friend, hoping they'll be okay.
Ben's POV
I stared at (Y/n)'s pained expression. It hurts me to know that this process pains them. I just hope it's not too much. My face close to the chamber, I could feel it's coldness emanating from the glass. I wonder if it's too cold in there? My eyes traced (Y/n)'s face, noticing every feature. I never really realized how attractive they were until now. Their black wavy hair, mesmerizing. Their cheeks, their jawline, their lips... No no no, I can't think like that. (Y/n)'s my friend. Besides, they might not even be into guys. I don't know. But then again.. they might. No! Stop thinking like that, they're your friend."Fifty percent." Max's voice behind me snapped me out of my thoughts. I nodded, turning around and walking over to look at (Y/n)'s vitals. "They still seem to be stable- wait.. they're heart rate is rising." I said, taking a deep breath. "I-Is that bad?" Toby said, a hint of nervousness in his voice. "Only if it goes too high." I scanned the rest of (Y/n)'s vitals. "Their body temperature is starting to go down as well."
"You can fix that, right? Bring some heat into the chamber?" Max said, clearly trying to keep himself calm too. We didn't want to fuck this up, our friend's life could be at stake. "Yeah, I think so.. hold on." I walked over to the side of the chamber were there was a bunch of machinery connected to it. I placed my hand on the machine and my hand went through it, making me a part of the machine. I willed the temperature in the chamber to rise to at least to seventy degrees Fahrenheit.
"Their temps going up." Max said behind me. Yes! It worked. Taking my hand back out I walked back over. "What about his heart rate?" I say glancing to (Y/n) in the chamber. They seem more relaxed now."It's steady." "Good." Toby and I said in unison.
We can't lose them.
