I sighed, dropping all my stuff in my room and flopping onto my bed, exhausted from the overuse of my powers. I didn't want to keep on going up and down to get all my stuff so I just used my powers to float everything up. The bed was so soft making me never want to leave, but sadly everything good has to come to an end.

I heard a knock coming from my door, groaning as I had to get off my bed. I dragged my feet to the door, opening it to come face to face with Namjoon, surprising me as I was expecting Hoseok as it's our dorm.

"Namjoon-ssi?" I questioned, not knowing why he was at my room's door.

"Hey Hyung! Hoseok and the boys wanted to see if you wanted to hang out with us, Yoongi is here now so you can meet him if you want." Namjoon spoke, clearing up my confusion.

"Oh! I'm fine, I still need to put my room together." I replied, receiving a nod from Namjoon-ssi before he left and I shut the door.

I sighed, hating that I reminded myself that I still had to decorate my room but I still got to work, emptying my boxes one by one. I kept my bed stuff to last to make sure I didn't get tempted to sleep.

~Five hours later~

I was finally satisfied with my room, liking how the colours compliment each other with the pop of green as an accent colour and how the lighting gave it a calm and tranquil atmosphere.

I sat on my bed looking around the room I'm going to be living in for the next three years. I could hear the muffled laughter of Hoseok and his friends, making me long for my brother. He's the only person I can trust and let into my life, he's the only real family I have left in this dark world.

I reached under my bed, reaching for one of my dark witch books that I hid away with my art supplies and some leather-bound books to not make is look weird. I took out a book to practice with knowing I won't have much free time soon to be able to practice my dark magic. Even though I can't reveal my powers, I still keep up with all the magic I can use because it could come in handy in the future. It was useful when I was dealing with my aunts.

I locked the door with some hunted locks and started to read the book, memorising some of the chants and symbols. I decided to keep it simple for now, not wanting to accidentally break something in my room right when I finished it. I skimmed through some of the low-class spells, looking for one that doesn't have the potential to harm my room.

Decay

As soon as I saw this, I knew I needed to do it. I've struggled with controlling it in the past which has led to some unfortunate events. One time I erased my aunts' flower garden she was working on for months, she didn't let me go to work for an entire month which made me lose my jobs and I had to watch my brother work even harder to keep the house. I can control it now, but I still need to check every now and then as black magic is sporadic and can change within a week. It's especially bad when you're under the age of 20, not havening fully developed powers until your 20th birthday.

I grabbed a flower off my desk and put it onto the bed in front of me. I closed my eyes focusing on not making it decay and picked it up. I opened my eyes, pleased that I could still see the flower. I concentrated once again and made it decay, watching as it crumbled to dust the disappear in thin air, leave no trace behind that it ever lived.

I jumped as I heard a knock at my door. I quickly put the book back under my bed and unlocked the haunted chains and my room door, opening it to see who knocked.

"Hey M/N, I was just coming to remind you that we need to go down now," Hoseok spoke.

"Oh, thank you. I almost forgot." I replied, scratching the back of my neck embarrassed.

"It's alright, Yoongi has left as he needed to talk to the teachers about his studies," Hoseok said with his usual cheerful smile plastered on his face.

All seven of us were talking naturally like we had known each other for years, as we made our way to the hall. It was nice that they were talking to me, not caring that they didn't even know me before today.

I felt accepted.
