Before I knew it, Calum was kissing me. I wanted to stop him, I really did, but I couldn't. I pulled away feeling this fluttering feeling in my stomach. "I-.. I'm so sorry." I said running off into the bathroom locking myself inside. "Lana, please open up." Calum knocked, but I couldn't. I was still afraid of getting hurt, again. "Lana come on, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to kiss you. I just thought you had feelings for me. I'm sorry, I promise it won't happen again." I waited a little while until I responded and opened up the door. "You have feelings for me?"

"Well... yeah. Please don't let this ruin our friendship. I'll get over it since you don't feel the same wa-"

I cut him off. "Who ever said I didn't feel the same way?" And once the words left my mouth his sad eyes turned into confused and hesitant ones.

"I just figured since you ran into the bathroom you were mad at me or disgusted with me." The way Calum said this I could tell he was scared which gave me some sort of comfort becuase it showed that he started to care again.

"I'm not mad at you or disgusted with you. I'm actually flustered."

"Why?"

"Because, I have feelings for you too." I said rolling my eyes since I had already admitted my true feelings towards him.

"You do?" He asked grinning at me.

"Yes." I said biting my lip.

"Jesus." He exhaled. "I thought I just ruined everything. So what happens now?"

"I don't know.." I trailed. "I like you, like a lot. But I'm just scared."

"I know you're scared. And to be honest, I'm scared too. But I promise I will never hurt you again. Besides, we're technically dating." Calum said lightening up the mood.

"If this does happen, you have to respect the speed that I'm willing to go. I wanna pretend that we have no sexual history whatsoever."

"Agreed." He said stepping closer to me. "Even though we're a new couple can I still do this?" He asked closing in the space between us. Calum took his hands and wrapped them around my waist pulling me as close as he could making our lips touch and move in sync.

My phone was buzzing and I looked down to see that it was Crystal.

"Hello?" I asked grogily trying to wake myself up.

"Darling!" She screamed into the phone. "Good, good news!"

"Such good news that you had to call me at 6:30 this morning."

"Yes!" She huffed. "21st Century Fox wants to turn Cute with a Curve into a movie and they want you to produce it."

"Me?"

"Yes you love, who better knows the story than you."

"Tha'ts amazing."

"I know love! They want to have a meeting on Friday so meet me at my office and we'll talk over the details."

"Okay, sounds good."

"Alright love! I've gotta run. Ta-ta." She said hanging up the phone. I pushed it back onto the end table and getting up. I stretched out my arms before changing into a sports bra and running shorts. I walked out onto the beach's walking path, plugged in my headphones and began to run out my stress. I ran for about 5 miles before returning back to the apartment. Walking in I set down my phone and grabbed myself a glass of water. Walking into the bedroom I exhaled and started shuffling through my drawers to find some clothes to throw on. I didn't see Calum around so I figured he was out. I stripped off my damp shorts leaving me in my bra and underwear. Looking around for clothes I started singing. "Lazy lover find a place for me again, you felt it once before I know you did, I could see it. Whiskey Princess drink me under pull me in, you had me at come over boy, I need a friend I understand.

"Back seat serenade-" Calum sung while he scared me half to death. I let out a scream.

"Jesus Calum, you scared the crap out of me." I said trying to cover myself up.

"Sorry." He said trying to push back his smile until he couln't anymore and let out a laugh.

"It's not funny." I said throwing my shorts at him and beginning to laugh at myself.

"Who did you think it was?"

"I don't know. But if I knew you were still home I wouldn't be walking around in my thong and bra."

"I don't mind." He said smirking at me.

"Oh please." I said rolling my eyes and grabbing a pair of leggings and a t-shirt from the closet. Calum walked closer and slid his hands around my waist attempting to kiss me. "I'm all gross and sweaty."

"Bet I can make you sweatier." Calum stated in a seducing tone while coking his thick eyebrow at me and moving closer.

"Boundaries." I reminded him. "I need to shower anyway."

"Good idea, I'll join you."

"Nooo, Calum, I'm serious." I said giggling at his dirty jokes and closing the bathroom door behind me. I felt the warm water warm me up and within a few minutes I was squeaky clean. I slipped on my comfy clothes and went into the kitchen to make myself some breakfast. I poured myself some cereal and grabbed a seat on the couch, next to Calum. I felt him staring at me so I looked over at him. He was grinning his cheeky smile. "What?" I asked moving my hand over my face thinking I had something stuck on it.

"I'm really hungry."

"So get yourself something to eat." I suggested scoffing at his whiney tone.

"Yeah, but I don't know if I like that cereal, so maybe-"

"No, you are not eating my cereal."

"Just one bite."

"Fine." I said giving in and pushing a spoonful into his mouth.

"It always taste so much better in someone else's dish." He said jokingly showing me his food in his mouth. "So why were you up so early?"

"Crystal called me and they're turning my book into a movie and they want me to produce it."

"That's awesome!" Calum said bringing me into an embrace until his face was filled with another emotion that I couldn't quite put my finger on.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"So, before I left to go on tour, you had already published your book. Everyone was talking about it so I even looked it up. So, I have to ask, am I Jack?" I looked into his chocolate brown eyes that were filled with sadness and wonder. But I thought to myself, should I tell him?
