Farewell Party

I was over at Zoe's apartment. She and I were discussing how sad we were going to be once the boys went off on tour. As we sat there, the gears in our brains were grinding. "Why don't we throw them a party." Zoe suggested putting another carrot topped with hummus into her mouth.

"Yeah, that would be cool. But an actual party, not like a group outing. Like let's throw an actual party inviting all of their friends and stuff." I suggested also putting another carrot topped with hummus in my mouth.

"Of course. We can have it here. We'll put streamers up, but no alcohol, I really want them to remember this, and not be drunk." She laughed knowing how drunk the boys could get when they drank.

"I agree." I said remembering how drunk Calum got at their celebration party after winning the VMA. I would prefer to spend time with my boyfriend rather than taking care of him.

"Alright, let's go food shopping now. We'll have it tomorrow night. But I think we should dress up really nice for the boys since it's technically their last full night here."

"Like wear dresses? Or shorts and dress shirts?"

"Let's do shorts, have it be casual." Zoe argued and I agreed. Zoe grabbed her car keys and we dashed off to the store picking out the necessities: chips, dip, soda, veggie platters, and some hot dogs and burgers. We scooted down the bakery isle where we placed an order for a cake that said Good luck boys!! We love you!!! along with the 5SOS logo on it. I was excited for the party. Checking out of the store we packed the groceries in the back of the car and driving off. "Hey Lan, you know what would be funny?"

"What?" I asked matching the smile on Zoe's face.

"What if we stopped at the sex store and got all of those kinky toys and gave it to them as a gift." Zoe couldn't even spit out what she wanted to say without cracking up, which made me burst into a fit of laughter as well.

"Yes! Or get them all women sex stuff. They would be hysterical." We knew what we had to do. The store was skecthy, but getting all of these things I couldn't help but crack up getting male parts shaped things. This was going to be priceless.

Zoe and I finished off our errands yesterday, picked up the cake and wrapped the "gifts" this morning. It was time for the party as we had some of their favorite music playing through the speakers Zoe and I heard a knock on the door yellling, "Surprise!!!!" We attacked them with hugs pushing them into the apartment as they took in all of our decorations.

"This is awesome!" Ashton exclaimed looking at the pictures and streamers we had put out.

"Thank you, thank you. Zoe and I have hot dogs, hamburgers, salads, chip and dip, veggie platters, and soda so no one pulls a Calum and gets wasted at their own party." I said giving my boyfriends cheek a pinch so that he knew I was making light of the situation. The boys, Zoe and I made plates of our foods and were now all sitting around talking about the good times we all have had together. Sitting here I knew life could only go down from here. We were all such good friends, I was really going to miss them, especially Calum. "Thank you for doing this." Calum whispered in my ear privately. I smiled at him and pecked his cheek. Looking at the plates around us, everyone had finished up the dinner portion of the meal so Zoe and I brought out the cake which caused them to laugh and thank us. All of us dug in and enjoyed it. In the middle of dessert Zoe stood up and brought out the bags of gifts. We ended up giving them the funny one's as well as a care basket. The care basket however, came first.

"This is definitely going to be useful." Michael said being completely honest. I handed the boys the other bags and their faces turned white once they pulled out the kinky things. Zoe and I could not control out laughter and neither could they once they realized how good we got them. They ended up keeping them, and it was getting pretty late. No one had a concept of time since all of us were enjoying ourselves so much. "Byeee Ashton!" I said squeezing his tall figure and he squeezed my smaller one leaving a brotherly kiss on the top of my head. "Michaelll." I pouted hugging him and he swayed me back and forth. "Goodbye Lucas." I said in a british accent giving him a tight squeeze as well. "I hope you all have an amazing time on tour and I know you're going to do great." I blew them a kiss and waved all of them goodbye and Calum held my waist walking me out to the car. The car ride between Calum and I was silent. Once we got back to the apartment I got ready for bed and so did Calum. I laid there in bed unable to sleep and Calum was unable to sleep as well. "Lannie?" He asked peering over at me.

"Yeah?" I asked looking over towards him.

"I'm really going to miss this. Miss us." Cal admitted bringing my tiny waist into his. "I am so greatful to have a girl like you."

"You guys deserve it. You're going to be away for so long. I don't even wanna think about it."

"I can't belive I'm leaving tomorrow. I do and don't wanna leave. I wanna go and play my music, but I don't wanna leave you."

"Don't get all soft on me Hood."

He let out a light laugh changing the mood a little. "I'm not. I just.. what am I gonna do without you Alana?" I had no answer. I didn't want to think about being without Calum. I couldn't even think about leaving him. I knew without a doubt I was going to miss him more than anything.
