I was just thinking of you

I hadn't seen Kayliegh in a while so I invited her to go out for mani-pedis. Sitting in the salon chairs relaxing having great conversation it was nice. "So how are you and Calum?" She asked smiling at me.

"We're good. He surprised me with a trip Mexico, which ended up as a trip to Australia becuase like I told you, my aunt passed away. But even though it was for a sad reason, the visit allowed us to see our family, and also mention to them that we were seeing each other. Which they were upset with at first, but they accepted it."

"This boy took you on technically two trips, please tell me you had sex with him." My eyes widened at her comment. First we were in a public place and two I never discussed my sex life, although now that I mention it, I haven't really had one.

"Kayliegh!" I shrieked. "No, we haven't had sex yet. We're taking things slow." I said trying to convince myself of that.

"Did you do anything to repay him?" I gave her a look so say seriously.

"Yes." I said avoiding awkward eye contact.

"You bad girl! Did he enjoy it?"

"Kayliegh! That's so uncomfortable. I've already told you too much. Calum would probably prefer if I didn't discuss what goes on between us."

"Trust me honey, if it was good it's not gonna stay between the two of you." Was Kayliegh right? I mean I was private about my sex life besides Riley, Kayliegh, and of course Calum. But Calum and I hadn't really talked about sex besides me saying that I wanted to take things slow. Besides sex is not something that everyone should be so focused on.

"I'm home." I yelled walking into the kitchen and setting down my things. I heard no answer so I checked the bedroom. "Calum?" I questioned not seeing him or hearing him. I looked around a little more, but gave up when he was no where to be found. I had been sitting on the couch for a couple of minutes when Calum walked in. "Hey babe." He said holding the door slightly open.

"Hi?" I said hesitantly trying to find what he was hiding behind his back. Calum squirmed but couldn't hold back what was behind him. It was a little puppy. "Oh my God. Hi little guy." I cooed at him and the little puppy ran right into my arms. "You're so cute." I said petting the little puppy's head.

"He's not ours, but we're watching him for Ms. Henderson down the hall." He said smiling and grabbing a seat so that he could pet the puppy with me as well.

"What's his name?" I asked smiling at the cute little creature in front of me.

"Max." He said smiling at me. "I think we should do something fun tonight."

"Like what?" I asked with my attention still strongly turned to the dog.

"Like go to a club and go dancing or something fun like that."

"Okay. I'll start getting ready I guess." I stood up and started to get ready. I picked out a skin tight bandage dress and silver high heels to gain some height since without them I was 5'1.

I had been getting ready for a whole hour. Straightening and primping myself, I was finally ready. I slid my shoes on and walked into the kitchen where Calum was sitting on his phone. "Ouch." I shrieked trying to walk around in my heels that were already causing my feet to hurt. He picked up his head to take a glance and returned to his phone, but then quickly looked back at me with his eyes wide open. I walked over towards the kitchen cabinets feeling his eyes focused in on me. "Just let me grab my wallet and then we can head out." I said shuffling around in the drawers trying to find my wallet that I had tucked away. I stood up and started walking towards the back door making sure everything was locked up. I gave some more food to Max petting him and giving him a little kiss. "Okay, I'm all set." I said pulling my dress down.

"O-o.. okay." Calum stuttered.

"Babe, are you okay?" I asked giggling at the way he was acting.

"Yeah, you just look absolutely amazing. I uh.. I can't believe how pretty you look. Not that you don't look pretty all the time, but wow."

"You don't look too bad yourself there Calpal." I said walking towards the door as he turned the key and drove off to the club. It was packed once we got there, but I wasn't going to let a long line let me down. While waiting there Calum and I were just talking and waiting our turn patiently. However, as much as I found Calum attractive, so did lots of other girls. "Hi sexy." Some girl behind us moaned in his ear. "Come on, people like you and I shouldn't have to wait on lines, especially since we're going to the same place now and later." She winked placing her hand on his muscular, tattooed bicep. "I think those tattoos are super sexy. What do they mean?" She asked batting her eyelashes at my boyfriend.

"I don't know, why don't you ask my girlfriend." Calum responded rolling his eyes at the tramp draped over him. She eyed me up and down and scoffed.

"Please honey you could do so much better than that virgin." The girl almost chocked on her words when I stepped into the light and she saw who I really was. "Oh my God, I'm so sorry. I didn't know you were, well you. You're Alana South. You wrote those books on relationships and stuff. Your books are like my bible." She babbled. "Can I ask you a question?"

"I suppose." I said taking a deep breath surprised by this girl's attitude.

"Okay, so there's this guy Ethan. He and I have been hooking up for a long time. At first it used to be just sex with him, but then I developed feelings and he's hasn't told me that he has feelings for me, but I know he does. I just don't want it to just be sex anymore I want something more."

"Well, I'm not all that experienced with the friends with benefits thing, but if you have feelings for him and you're not sure he likes you back, take sex off the table. If he stays then he's worth it, if not then you're better off without him."

"Thanks for that. Again, I'm really sorry about the comments I made before, I'm just trying to get over him in-case things don't work out."

"It's okay. I guess I'm not the only one to think my boyfriend's hot." I giggled batting my eyes at him.

Once we finally got into the club, I was ready to drink all of my stress away, which did not end up well. I took shots after shots and by 2:00 A.M. I was feeling completely wasted. Calum made the responsible decision and took me home. My arm was draped around his shoulder as he carried me into the bedroom. He slipped off my dress and tossed me a big t-shirt to throw on. I slipped it over my head as he threw on his sweatpants. Laying back onto the bed playing with his phone. I slipped over to him and took his phone out of his hand placing it on the end table and straddled his lap. I took my hand and put it behind his head playing with his little tufts of hair. I looked him in the eyes for a while until I connected our lips. A few minutes pulling back and taking the t-shirt off and throwing it across the room. I reattached our lips earning a couple of moans and I played with his hair. I slid my hands down his stomach and moved them to a place that they shouldn't have been. He pulled back from the intense kiss, "Lana, what're you doing?"

"What does it look like?" I said re-connecting our lips until he pulled us apart again.

"Alana..." He whispered as I started leaving kisses down his neck. "Lana." He said grabbing my chin and forcing me to look at him.

"What?" I pouted.

"You're drunk. And as much as I want to, and believe me I do, if you were sober, you wouldn't want this. So I think we should just go to bed, okay?"

"Fine." I huffed pouting and lifting myself off of his lap. I was upset Calum didn't want to sleep with me, but as I started to sober up, I realized he respected me. He wanted it to be special for me and didn't take advantage of me being drunk to get lucky.
