Last night turned into a disaster. Kayliegh had told me that Calum called her over and wanted to know all about what I liked sex wise. I know it's stupid for me to be hurt by this, but I just couldn't understand why A.) He would talk to her about it and not me and B.) why he wouldn't just tell me about their little "meeting". Being so upset last night brought back a numerous amount of traumatic memories that I was trying to surpass. Walking into the living room I saw Calum sleeping there so peacefully and all the anger and heart fled from my body. I bent down and kissed his cheek which caused him to wake up with a smile spread across his face. "Morning" I whispered taking my pointer finger and tracing the outline of his biceps. "Morning." He replied with the smile still on his face and his thumb rubbing circles on my plush cheeks. "I'm sorry..." He huffed.
"It's okay." I said smiling at him for comfort.
"Since your real birthday sucked, I planned a whole day to make it up to you."
"You did?" I asked excited, yet nervous as to what Calum had planned.
"Mhm.." Calum grunted deep in his throat.
"Where are we going?" I questioned batting my ling eyelashes at him.
"It's a surprise. But I can tell you to pack a bathing suit and a dressy outfit."
"Are you being serious?" I asked suspiciously cocking my one eyebrow at his smiley poker face.
"I'm super serious." He admitted.

I packed away my bathing suit and a pair of dress shorts that matched one of my favorite crop tops. Calum and I packed our things and sped off into the distance. Driving off Calum had put the top of his car down as well as blasted the radio. One of his hands was on the steering wheel while the other was on my inner thigh which I found comforting. Looking out the window I had gotten lost in the drive and was focusing all of my attention on the beautiful scenery that was placed outside the car window. It felt like we had been in the car for hours but I didn't mind. The air was warm and I had never felt so alive. My attention and thoughts were broken up once I noticed a sign that posted. WELCOME TO MALIBU. I looked over at Calum who soon looked back at me and smiled. "What are we doing in Malibu?" I questioned excitedly.
"You'll see." He smirked turning his full attention to the road. Calum turned the car on a sharp turn pulling into a gravel parking lot and putting the car in park. "Be right back." Calum said as he shut the car door behind him walking up to the tiny shack. "Hi, Ms. South?" The tan, brown eyed, boy asked. He was dressed in some sort of work uniform.
"Yes?" I asked trying to keep eye contact with the worker as well as try to read Calum's facial expression.
"Hi, I just need you to sign this waiver for me."
"What's this for?" I asked taking the pen and scribbling my signature onto the paper. Skimming it over with my eyes I head read many fancy words to which I could not really infer what Calum and I were doing here.
"Oh." He said shocked. "This is a insurance waiver. We have you and Mr. Hood planned for the whole entire package. First you guys are going out on the Jet Skis, then after that it's para-sailing, and then wake-boarding, which leaves just the boat ride to Malibu's Private Resort beach. We do hope you enjoy. Here are your life jackets." The boy, named Johnathon, said handing me the security vests as I was still trying to process what he had just listed. Calum had done all of this just to make up for my birthday last night. After we had clipped and zipped up the vests Johnathan came over to us again. "You guys are all set."
"I'm sorry would you mind taking a picture of us?" I asked handing the attendant my phone. Calum and I did a nice smiling pose and a typical kissing picture. "Thank you." I pleaded as he handed me back my phone. I turned to Calum kissing him once more before stepping off the dock and getting lectured about the proper use of the jet skis. Before I knew it I pushed hard on the throttle taking off as Calum's hands were wrapped around my waist. Zipping around the water was such an amazing feeling. Calum and I decided to switch halfway as he pushed hard on a throttle and my tiny arms wrapped around his waist. I was such a daredevil I stood up and started waving around as Calum focused on avoiding the waves so that I didn't plunge over the edge.

Jet skiing was a blast, but now it was time for wake-boarding which Calum had enjoyed, but now as much as the two of us being sent into the air. Now we were on the boat eating divine food laying out and soaking up the rays of sun. I simply could not wipe the smile off of my face. "I cannot believe you did all of this just for me."
"So I'm guessing you're enjoying this then?"
"More than you could ever imagine."
"Isn't it crazy?"
"What?"
"How lucky I am to be in love with such an amazing girl?"
"Isn't it crazy how I'm in love with such an amazing and incredibly sexy guy?" I asked mimicking his question with one of my own. "This is just so amazing."
"Don't worry, there's a lot more to come." As Calum said these words I still could not process how he had planned all of this out. The jet skis, para-sailing, the wake-boarding, the boat that we were luxuriosly relaxing on. I mean, I knew I was lucky, but thinking about the possibility of events to come I could not wait.
