When Bennett wakes up at 7:30 we have only just lit the candles. As he saunters down the steps we gather everyone in the living.

"Ready one, two three!" I whisper to the others.

As Bennett's foot touches the bottom step someone flicks on the lights & we yell, "Happy birthday Bennett!!"

The look on his face is priceless. He's completely surprised & winced he'd just woken up it kinda scared the crap out of him. He jumps back then grins & walks over smiling, waving a finger at us.

"You guys. You got me. I didn't think you forgetful assholes would remember." He says win a laugh.

I fake hurt. "So rude! Mason & I were up slaving away at 4 a.m to make you this cake & this is how you thank us? Oh some people are just so rude." I say & cross my arms looking away from him before breaking into a smile & playfully hitting his arm.

"I'm kidding. Happy birthday Bennett." I say warmly & pull him in for a hug.

I squeeze him tight & deeply breathe his scent while I can before we break apart & he sets to thanking everyone else.

The surprise guests include; Grace, Carter, Lyle, Patrick, one of Grace's friends, Hailey, all the roomies, Mason, & myself.

The cake had been harder to make than I had anticipated because Mason insisted on all these "modifications."

Gosh it's not like it's his party yet. Now that cake will be spectacular.

Tonight we are having a rager at the house for Bennett, but he has no clue yet. Grace is going to take him out today for a "special birthday treat" which will take up the entire time after school until 8 when the party will start.

Caden, Mark, Tyler, Zach, Carter, & Patrick are staying home to decorate while Mason, Lyle, Grace, & I try to keep him from noticing their absence. We have excuses for Carter & Patrick so hopefully he believes them.

We really want to surprise him. It's a special day.

I kinda wanna make it up to him for a few days ago & I just hope it works.

It has to go perfect. It just has to.

This is his day.

*A few minutes later*

"Mason! Will you go? I have to get ready!" I yell & I struggle to move his lumbering body off my bed, but to no avail.

He smirks at me & shakes his head. "Nope." He says popping the "p" for effect. "I think I'll stay right here." He says & rolls over with a sigh.

Oh I knew I should've gotten ready earlier. There just wasn't time with the cake & everything.

With a sigh I give up, grab my clothes, & go to the bathroom to change, but I stop myself.

It's my room. He is my boyfriend so he can see me in a bra and panties. Right?

I nod & smirk at him "sleeping."

I shed my top & pants before walking over to him in the bed. I lean down brushing his ear with my lips.

"Mason." I whisper. "You're missing out on the party."

He grunts & turns to see what I'm talking about & when he catches sight of me his eyes get as big as bowling balls. His cheeks redden & he tries to avoid eye contact with me in his flustered state.

He stutters before finally getting his words out. "Wh... Why d.. D.. Don't you have cl... Clothes on?" He asks.

I lean in and make him look at me. I smile at him in a fake sweet way. "Because it's my room & I have to get changed. Now either go like I asked you or I'll just tease you for a bit longer & make you go to school today thinking about me. That'll really help you concentrate for the chem test, huh?" I ask & I leave him to ponder that while I brush my hair.
