Stepping out of the shower I'm still smiling.
How can just one kiss make me feel this good?
I wrap the towel around myself & head to my room. I lock the door & get out my clothes.
A gray long sleeve & fuzzy pajama pants.
Perfect.
I slip into them with a smile & grab my phone, heading downstairs. Gabby greets me happily with a hug.
"What did you do today?" I ask.
She grins. "We went to the bakery & got cupcakes. Then we went to the mall & I got to play in the play area for a really long time." She replies enthusiastically.
"That's sounds like fun." I say with a smile.
She's so happy. It's adorable.
"Yep!" She replies before running back toward Mark.
I walk into the kitchen happily & put homemade chicken noodle soup on the stove.
"What are you making?" Zack asks, causing me to jump.
"Ga! You scared me!" I cry with a hand over my heart & he laughs at me.
"Sorry." He says as he takes a seat on a stool.
"I'm making chicken noodle soup. Want some?" I ask.
He nods & I pour more soup into the pot.
"It'll be ready in ten." I say before leaving the kitchen.
"K." He replies, but I'm already in the living room.
Mark, Gabby, Adrian, Jackson, Tyler, & Darin are there.
Fantastical!
I sit next to Jackson. Everyone continues on with their conversations except for Darin, who keeps looking at me.
Can't he just give up already? I don't want him!
I roll my eyes and scowl at him before grabbing a controller and turning on the X-box.
Mario World 3D is on & I smile before selecting Toad & playing the next level.
This'll get my mind off him. It's perfect.
My mind wanders to many things as I play. Things I'd rather not think of. They're just too sad.
"Can I play?" Someone asks.
I'm not paying enough attention to know who it is.
"Sure." I murmur & hand them a controller.
My skin tingles on impact & spends a shudder through me.
Who the hell..?
I spin around & come face to face with a smirking Bennett. I smile at him & an emotion I've become familiar with flashes in his eyes.
Desire.
"Oh hi." I say blushing & grinning like a maniac. Out of the corner of my eye I see Darin glaring daggers at Bennett.
Good.
He grins back & plops down next to me, his thigh brushing against mine as well as his arm.
Tingles burn like wild fire at every point of contact.
I set it up for two player & he chooses Toad.
