23 - Awakenings

Back to the present in the Never Realm

ALERT! Serious SPOILERS of Season 11 - Last 2 episodes.

[Lloyd]

-"Which way is the Throne Room?" I asked Grimfax

-"To the left, but we can't go there yet. There's something we have to take care of first." we heard a sound. -"Hide!" Grimfax tells us as four Blizzard Samurai walk into view, we quick hide but Kataru accidentally nudges snow and it falls to the ground. The Samurai jump at the sound and look around, but they do not see us there and carried on the way.

After they were gone Grimfax explains his plan:

-"Vex has a corrupted shard of ice. It is all-seeing. So long as he possesses that, there is no hope of victory. We must destroy it first."

-"How do you know he isn't watching us right now?" - I asked

-"If he were, we would already be caught."

-"We better hurry then." Kataru adds.

-"Which way?" Grimfax pointed the way and we head off.-"You're sure he's not watching us?"

-"Like I said, if he were watching the Crystal, we wouldn't have gotten this far." but as soon as we turned a corner we run into Vex and the Blizzard Samurai.

-"You were saying?" Vex laughs evilly and the Samurai grin in response. Kataru immediately transforms into his bear form and Grimfax whips out his axe from behind.

-"Run!" - Grimfax tells me.

-"No, We have to stay together, I will fight with you."

-"No, Lloyd, you must go! You must awaken your friend or all is lost! We will hold them back as long as we can!" He pushes me. -"Go! Rrgh!" I do as he tells me and run to the Throne Room.

[Akita]

I was determined to find Lloyd, if he had survived and something tells me he did, I will rescue him, I will not let the Ice Emperor and Vex do to Lloyd what they did to my brother. Not this time...

As I approach the Castle, I have my wolf form, so I pose as an innocent hungry animal to the guards watching the gates, as soon as they get distracted I transform and attacked both of them at once... I think I must have learned a thing or two watching Lloyd in the last few days.

I can't believe I am thinking about him again... In the last 24 hours 9 out of 10 of my thoughts evolves about him... What is wrong with me?

I explore the inner gate of the Castle, trying to find the best way to break into, as quiet as I can I find my way inside the Castle and into the Throne room. For the first time since he killed my brother I finally am face to face to this horrible creature that destroyed my people and my realm.

Suddenly all those emotions get a hold of me, and all I can think of is revenge. I get my dagger ready to attack, and as soon as I see a chance I run towards him.

But before I could reach him, he turned to me and deflect my attack throwing me down the stairs.

-"Who... are you?" - He asked me.

-"My name is Akita." - I answered getting ready to attack again.

-"Akita? Another rebel thief? A traitor come to steal my sceptre?"

-"I came for revenge!"

-"Revenge? For what?"

-"For my brother, Kataru, and for the suffering of my people, the Formlings!" - I said trying to distract him as I adjust the grip of my dagger and get ready to attack him again.
