41 - Oni blood

[Akita]

-"What have you done to him?" I asked the girl. I noticed Lloyd temper raising as soon as his spot Copper, I saw him just like that when he found out I was the Wolf...

His newfound sister touched his forehead and he felt at once as if sleeping. His mother dropped on her knees picking him up, and resting his head on her lap before I couldn't do anything, I thought I better stay aside...

-"Don't worry, I would never hurt my brother, he will be fine, he will be back soon, I have just restored some of his memories... I am sorry if scared you. I mean no harm... " Copper tells me.

She started walking from one side to another, I sensed anxious feelings on her.

-"Akita" Lloyd's mother called me -"please forgive my children, I happened to have two hotheads, I always thought it was a trait from their fathers, but I guess it comes from me."

-"Because they have different fathers?" - she nodded back to me -"Lloyd's father is Garmadon, the son of the First Spinjitzu Master, but who is Copper's father?" I asked her, conscious I was stepping on dangerous soil. The answer, however, came from Copper.

-"My father's name is Akron, but he is not, and has never been Mother's mate. She was taken into a horrible place, by the same evil that destroyed our kind here in the Never realm, you know the story. Both of my parents were used in experiments for procreation against they will, my father was already an experiment himself, the evil want to create a new race of time lords to serve them, and they succeed, I was conceived, but my parents work together to escape that place and bring me to life, in safety."

I was shocked to hear everything Copper just told me. I looked at Misako, and I felt sorry for her, I kneeled beside her and placed my hand on her shoulder. She looked at me.

-"I am really sorry... I guess Lloyd doesn't know all of this."
-"no he doesn't, when I was taken captive, he was 9 years old, I let his father take him to this school, I knew it was a horrible place, but it was supposed to be just a day, maximum, however, I couldn't make back to him, he was there for almost 1 year. To make things worse, he doesn't remember anything between the ages of 4 and 9, I erased all his memories from me and his father, to protect him... that was a big mistake... I could never reverse that myself."

-"I could..." Copper explained "but we have to be here in the temple, and that was never possible before."

Suddenly Lloyd was back, he sat up and looked around the room, breathing fast, I hold one of his hand, he looked at me and smiled, and looked to his mother, who was the other side of him.

-"I am sorry Mom..." he said falling into her arms, crying on her shoulder... I felt my tears falling as well...

-"it is OK sweetie, it is fine... I am sorry for not being there for you when you needed me most." she was also crying.

-"it wasn't your fault Mom... Copper showed me everything."

Copper was standing on the other side wiping her face.

-"thank you, Copper, I very proud to have a sister like you."

-"Really?" she smiled over her tears "can I give a big hug now?"

-"yes" he said to her standing on his feet and grabbing her in his arms.

Watching his demonstration of love towards his mother and the sister he just met, made me fall for him a little more... who am I kidding? I am completely in love with this adorable boy.

-"come here, Red..." he pulled me into this family hug, and I felt very much part of it.
