31 - The Time Lords

[Akita]

-"hey Red... I had a wonderful day today." Lloyd told me sitting by my side, he has been talking to his friends since we returned from the hot springs, I looked at him, but for some strange reason I find difficult to stay looking into his green eyes, it almost hurts me. "Thank you for showing me around." He added.

-"it was my pleasure, I am glad you enjoyed." I answer, turning my face to the fire.

My people did a feast to celebrate life, we had music and dance, lots of food, drinks and now we were all sitting by the fire to hear the old tales, just like the night before.

-"we are going back to the Lake Village tomorrow morning." he said putting his arm around my shoulder. "Why don't you... and Kataru as well, come with us, we will need all the help we can get to rebuild the village, Kai completely destroyed it fighting Boreal, I was told."

-"wow... lots of work to do... I cannot answer for my brother, but you can count me in," I tilt my head towards him letting it rest on his shoulder, and he wrapped his finger in my hair. Looking to the fire.

-"Akita, what is she saying?" Lloyd asked me referring to the story teller.

-"hum... I don't know!!" I answered him -"Shashank, we can't hear you very well from here." I said to the story teller.

-"I am sorry my child, I will speak louder." Shashank turned to where we were sitting and restarted her story.

Is was the Amaterasu story, I have heard so many times as a child.

It was nothing new for me. She was half of entity, the goddess of light, love, fertility, she was kidnapped by demons, they brought her to the Never realm, away from her soulmate the Dragon warrior.

It was a deadly realm, but her presence brought life, she was however sad and incomplete, missing her other half.

He, meanwhile, had been travelling everywhere to find her, until many years later he finally found her here. There was a battle, and the dragon from the Never realm fight on her side against the demons, whom had taken shape of dark wolves. At the end, Amaterasu was reunited with her soulmate, together they took the form of Agape, one of the 3 might powers.

Until there, nothing was exactly new for me, I grew up listening to that story, but at the end, there was a part of the story I don't remember hearing before.

-"As rearward to the Dragons of the Never realm, Amaterasu gave them the power of time. To three of them, the queen mother, the father and their off spring, representing the three streams of time: past, present and future, Amaterasu gave the keys of the gates of time, together the three time keepers were called "Time Lords". Only together they can overrule time itself, beyond timelines, realms and existence... alone they are only another time traveller, together they are as powerful as the mighty gods themselves."

-"you didn't tell me this part..." Lloyd whispered close to my ear.
-"I don't remember hearing that before..." I whispered back to him.

-"... and the prophecy said the story will repeat itself, when child of the Time Lords return to this realm to help the Dragon Warrior to find Amaterasu, that would have been trapped here by the dark wolves, and has lost all her memories... "

-"Red, if is out there a child of the Time Lord, and my mother is the last of her kind, what is the chance she is the child of the Time Lord?"

-"100%, but, what if she is not the last one?"

-"What do you mean? you heard your father yesterday."

-"she had you, you are a decent, sometimes on prophecies a 'child' can be few generations in the family line."
