Lilly's POV

I was in here for hours. My only sense of time was the light that spilled in from the window, though the light was gone now.

There was knock on the door.

"Why the hell are you knocking? It's not like I can answer it," I said. The door opened and Emma came in with a tray of soup and water and a towel.

"You need to eat," she said. She placed the tray on the floor and picked up the bowl and spoon. She stirred the soup for a bit before scooping up some of the food and blowing on it and putting the soup towards my lips.

I starred at her and moved my head so I can knock the soup out of the spoon, which spilled down my chest, burning my skin.

"You're pathetic if you think I'm going to eat anything you guys serve me."

Emma's expression didn't change. Instead, she scooped up another spoonful of soup.

"Did you hear me or are you deaf? I said I'm not going to eat that. It's probably poisonous."

Emma sipped the soup and took another spoonful. "See? It's not poisonous, now will you please eat?"

I turned my head away. From the corner of my eye I saw her put down the bowl and take out a knife from her back pocket.

I turned my face to her again. "Please, don't."

She walked behind me and I closed my eyes, readying myself for the pain, but it didn't come. Instead, I felt my hands being cut loose. She then walked in front of me and cut the rope that was around my ankles.

"Eat. And then clean yourself up."

I rubbed my hands together, the blood rushing into them making my hand pulse. She turned around and walked out of the room.

I got up and took a step, only to fall on the ground. The lack of circulations in my feet made it hard to stand up. I laid there on the ground for a while, trying to get my blood flowing healthily around me again before I stood back up.

It was still kind of hard, but I was able to walk now. I made my way to the door, and tried the handle. Locked. I cursed myself for thinking that she was stupid enough to free me and have the door unlocked as well.

I hobbled back to the chair and sat down on the floor, placing the tray on the chair. I started to eat the soup. It was plain, but I was hungry. I gulped down the water too.

After I ate, I picked up the rag and started to clean the blood from myself. The towel was warm and moist, letting the blood come off easily.

I wondered to myself why Emma was being so nice to me, but I decided that I should be grateful about it instead of complaining. But still, it wasn't enough for me to trust that she wouldn't hurt me.

About two hours later-or what felt like two hours later- Jordan walked into the room. When he saw that I was no bound in the chair, he just laughed.

"So she decided to let you lose. That's fine. It's not like you can get out of here anyways."

I spat at his feet and he laughed. He leaned down and grabbed my face with one hand.

"Do what you want, but you'll regret that all as I'm cutting your body to strips. I hope you have a high pain tolerance," he pushed my face sideways and turned his back, walking towards the door.
