Shout-out to Noslimeyboi for helping me write this chapter! They wrote the heart attack part and inspired the idea! Go check out their story The Marked!

Rachel POV

It was really nice and calming to have dinner with just the girls tonight, even if I knew that Jesse was getting beaten up by Santana while Brittany was talking to Lord Tubbington- that cat never died, sadly. It seemed like every year, weirder and weirder things would happen involving it. This year, he's part of the Trump campaign, and in a straight pride parade, sponsoring it.

I wish we could do it more often, but life gets in the way of family time sometimes, sadly.

They keep asking me about high school, and I'm laugh crying at all of the weird things that went down back then. I mean, we weren't even all friends at the beginning of it, and now, twenty years later, here we are, family.

"Did you date anyone besides Finn and Daddy?" Shelby asks, smiling innocently with her blue eyes.

"For a hot minute, I was dating Uncle Puck. We both liked Finn and Quinn, who were dating, even though she was carrying Noah's kid, and he thought he had a dream from God about dating me because I'm Jewish. Hence the nickname Beautiful Jewish American Princess," I giggle. These stories are hilarious.

No One POV

Everything was great. Rachel and the girls were giggling and having an overall good time. After a particular long fit of laughter, Rachel noticed some chest pain but just shook it off as heartburn or a pulled muscle.

Ten minutes later her palms started sweating an abnormal amount and she found it getting harder and harder to breath. The room started spinning and she tried to brace herself to no avail. She landed on the floor with a dull thud.

Shelby and Blaire heard the noise and turned around to see their mother shaking slightly on the floor. “Mommy!” Shelby repeated as Blaire took out her phone and dialed Kurt.

“Uncle Kurt!” she shouts, “Mommy fell and won't get up!”

“Okay, calm down. Put her head on something soft and track of her pulse.” Kurt responded.

On the other end there was some shuffling then Blaire’s voice came back, “Her heads on a pillow and her pulse is extremely fast.”

Kurt realised Rachel was having a heart attack and told Blaire to keep tracking her pulse. In the meantime they sat in silence for a half hour until Blaire spoke up. “It stopped.”

“What?”

“The pulse. It stopped.”

Kurt couldn’t believe it, his friend was dead. It took awhile for things to click. Once they did he told the small girls to call Brittany. “She’s in New York, which is closer than me, so she can help you.”

Blaire thanks Kurt before dialing Brittany, “Aunt Brittany, mommy doesn't have a pulse!” She comforted her crying sister with a hug while waiting for a response.

"I'm calling 911. You two are at the taco place, right?" Brittany asks, concern evident in her voice. Rachel's dead, or about to be.

"Yes. Hurry, please! We want Mommy to be alive!" The girls shout, and Brit hangs up the phone to call 911.

"911, what is your emergency?" The operator asks.

"I think one of my friends had a heart attack at 730 Broadway. She has two girls who are there with her, one's seven and the other's five," she explains, sobbing. Rachel...
