*2 Months Later*

Rachel POV

"And, Mrs. Hudson-Berry, you're healed. There is no more damage to your wrist or to your ankle," the doctor says after looking at my most recent x ray. I smile, excited. Two months is a long time, and it feels even longer when everything in your life takes ten times more time and effort.

He leaves the room, leaving just Finn and I in there. Finn's been my rock these past couple of months, I honestly don't know what I would have done without him. We've become even closer than before (something I didn't even know possible) and can practically read each other's minds now.

"You excited, babe?" He asks me, pressing a kiss to the top of my head lightly.

"Of course. Now that my foot and hand are better, I can do things on my own. I love you, but also love my independence," I smile at him, and hop off the bed onto the ugly floor.

"Well, then the fact that I've planned a surprise for you will make this even better," he smirks confidently, and I smile even wider.

"What is it?" I ask excitedly, and he just chuckles.

"That's for me to know and you to find out, wife. Let's leave here so we can go to it," Finn tells me, and my heart accelerates at the word wife. It always does.

"Fine. But we better get there quick because otherwise, I'll complain the whole way," I warn, and he chuckles again. This isn't a joke or exaggeration.

Taking his hand in mine, I run out the door to the truck and hop in the passenger side door.

"So, what do you think the surprise is?" Finn asks, and I think for a moment. It could be any number of things, ranging from a trip shopping to another dead friend. There's really no telling.

"I don't know, but it will be perfect if you're planning it," I say, and he smiles to himself. "Dear God, that was cheesy. I apologize."

"Don't. It's cute when you're being cheesy," Finn smiles at me, pulling up at The Center.

In my death, I have learned several things, one of them being that The Center is basically a big place where whoever controls this lives and works. So Finn pulling into that parking lot was not the greatest thing.

"Babe, what are we doing here?" I slightly whine, and he ignores my question and hops out of the truck.

"You have to go inside for the surprise, Rach," Finn chuckles and I groan, getting out of the truck. This place is not fun nor interesting. I kinda hate it, and he knows that. "I promise it's good news, and something you'll really like."

"Okay, I believe you, but if I find out something horrible, I blame you."

"I expect nothing less." With that, Finn leads me to a section of it that I've never seen before. It's beautiful, with the most me decorations I've ever seen.

"Oh my God, Finn, what is this? I love it so much!" I squeal, giving him a quick kiss on the lips. Well, our version of quick, so it's about a minute long.

"This, my lady, is an amazing spot called The Child Wing. I was told a day ago that we were to come here. For some reason, I've been told that amazing things happen here."
