Rachel POV
I awake the next day to the sound of an alarm clock that neither Finn nor I set. What the heck?
Heavy sleeper he is, Finn didn't wake up, but I did. Sighing, I decided to make breakfast for the two of us.
"Miss Berry, your friend Kitty Abrams has joined us today. She will be entering your house in three hours," a voice booms from somewhere within the house. Wait, Kitty's dead too? More friends, I suppose. The Glee club has had so much tragedy these past few weeks.
I start heating up the oven and getting the ingredients for corned beef hash, bacon, eggs, toast, and a fruit smoothie out of the fully stocked fridge when Finn makes his way downstairs, yawning.
"Good morning, sleepyhead. Kitty's going to be coming over in a couple hours, and I decided to make breakfast," I inform him, getting embraced in a hug with a peck on the head.
"Well, I'm not gonna stop you. I'm going to go take a quick shower, I'll be down in twenty minutes. You look gorgeous," Finn compliments me. He's barely even looked at me, but it's sweet that he said that.
"You go do that. I'll be cooking," I start making the food and he walks upstairs.
Twenty minutes later, he leaves the shower and breakfast is on the table.
"Babe, breakfast is ready when you're dressed!" I shout up the stairs, and he laughs from the bathroom.
"I'll be there in a minute, Rach. Start without me."
"Not a chance, Hudson," I say under my breath, walking back to the kitchen where I fix myself a plate, with some corned beef hash, eggs, toast, and bacon. I'm not a vegetarian anymore, though I do still not eat that much meat.
"Babe, I told you to start without me. Now I feel bad," Finn kisses me quickly before grabbing a plate and his coffee.
"It's fine, I felt like waiting. I'm kind of excited that Kitty's going to be coming over today. Besides you I don't really have many friends up here, but now I do!" I cheer, and he chuckles in amusement.
"Yeah, I wonder how long it's been for her since you died," he says, taking a bite of breakfast.
"What do you mean by that?" I ponder, confused.
"When I died and when you did was, up here, a year. I figured out that it was a decade for you, but that explains the whole me looking the same thing," Finn explains, and we both eat our breakfast, engaging in random conversations.

I low-key love Kitty's character.
