Jarley again (every 11 chaps)

--

Wow, I'm only supposed to be pregnant for three months up here. I guess my little girl will get out in the real world of the dead soon enough.

We need to pick out a name! I know it's a little soon, but I really want to name my kid. And I've loved some names for girls ever since I was a little kid.

"Hey, babe?" I call into the bedroom where Jake is lying on the bed watching Netflix. We're dead and nothing interesting is happening in our lives, so there's also a pizza on the way.

He pauses the show and replies, "What's up, Marls?"

I sit down on the bed next to him and smile, "I want to start picking out our baby's name. Then, we'll pick out the nursery theme and everything else."

Jake chuckles, "I have no say in this, we're naming a kid, aren't we?" My eager nod gets a smile out of him.

"I have some name ideas," I start, pulling out my phone to look at my notes app. There's an entire list on there. "Brooklyn, Savannah, Rose, Autumn, Mackenzie, Adalynn, Nicole, Gabriella, Parker, Brynn, Sawyer, Alexandria, Julianna, Sabrina, and Devin."

"That's quite a list, babe," my husband affectionately smiles at me. "I like some of these names, too. She should have Rose as her last name, since you never changed your last name and you're the one giving birth to her."

"Alright then, I guess that crosses that off the list. So, what names are your favorites?" I smile.

"I like Nicole or Brynn for the middle name," he offers, taking his time to help pick the name of our baby. It's really cute if I'm being honest.

"I agree, and with Sabrina for the first name?" I suggest, happy we've come to that conclusion.

"I love it, almost as much as I love you and this baby," Jake kisses the top of my head affectionately as the door rings with pizza.

We leave to go pay for the pizza, with pineapple because why the heck not. As soon as we get back upstairs to our room, I pounce on him with another question, "So, what do you think should be the nursery theme?"

"Rainbows." Jake answers quickly, like he's thought about this a lot. "Pastel rainbows."

I'm a little shocked that we were thinking the exact same thing, but it's great.

"Alright, so Sabrina Nicole will have a pastel rainbow themed nursery."
