Two days later, it was A6d's turn to look after Bad. The others were out to do a small quest that was fit for their dynamic, so A6d stayed behind.

A6d pulled the chair from the desk next to the window, leaning on the windowsill as he looked outside the glass. It was rainy today, people were running to get to where they needed or were using their umbrellas to get around. It was much less busy than those two days before.

A6d looked at Bad, then at the bag A6d had given him for their 'Christmas' celebration. Bad has always been determined to do whatever his goal was. Whether big or small, he always found a way to accomplish it. His long term goal lately has been to collect books on a certain subject, magic and the gods. Though, the books seem unrealistic and more like a storybook to A6d.

There's many times A6d can recall Bad's determination. The most prominent time being with magic. He's always had a difficult time picking up on new or different spells from what Skeppy has told A6d. According to Skeppy, he had to work with Bad to help him learn some of the spells they learned there. Even so, he continued to try his best through it all. Sure, he got disappointed at times, but he still kept going.

That is something that A6d looks up to in Bad. He wants to be able to do the same, to be able to do his best and try over and over no matter how many times it takes. He wants to be able to reach his goal no matter what it is.

His determination is very admirable.

Around 3 hours after they started the quest, Dream and Skeppy returned to the Inn room. Their hair and clothes now damp from the rain.

"I officially hate the rain." Dream said with a groan, plopping onto his bed as he laid out in a starfish-like stance.

"Same.." Skeppy agreed with a scowl as he sat on his bed, far less dramatically than Dream.

"Did you two at least get the reward?" A6d asked, moving from the chair to his bed which was placed next to Dream's.

"Yes, thankfully." Dream said, sitting up and throwing the pouch of gold to A6d. The taller man catching it easily.

"That'll be able to pay off the healer, hopefully." A6d said, putting the pouch into another bag that seemed to be his own.

"Yeah.." Skeppy said, frowning and turning to Bad, this making him frown more. "He still hasn't woken up... huh...?"

Dream smiled sadly as he adjusted himself to turn to the other. "The healer did say it would take a few days at least." he said.

Skeppy nodded sadly, still staring at the other. Guilt filled his eyes.

"You're blaming yourself, aren't you?" A6d asked blatantly.

"No, i-" Skeppy started, being interrupted by the other.

"I didn't need an answer, i already know. Skeppy, it isn't your fault so stop blaming yourself." A6d responded, a slight aggression in his voice.

Skeppy stayed silent, looking as if he was going to speak, but stopping himself and looking down and away,

Dream frowned as he looked between the two. "He's right, Skep. You didn't know that there would be a sleeping herb in those forests. And you especially didn't know Bad would pick one up without realizing it."

"I know.. I'm sorry..." Skeppy said quietly.

"You two really do say sorry a lot, huh?" A6d said, sighing. "You two should get some rest, I'll stay up a little longer to watch Bad then do the same. Okay?"

"Yeah, good idea." Dream said, a bit of a smile appearing on his face because of his friend.

"Okay." Skeppy said, forcing a sad smile and laying into his bed more.

Dream adjusted himself as well, laying down and covering himself with the blanket the inn supplied. Skeppy closed his eyes and almost instantly drifted off to sleep, meanwhile, Dream stayed up a bit longer.

"Thank you..." Dream said quietly.

"What do you mean?" A6d asked with a whisper, confused by his friend's statement.

"Thank you for caring. You're a great.. friend." Dream said, smiling.

A few moments of silence enveloped the room, A6d not knowing what to say.

Dream closed his eyes, assuming A6d wouldn't be responding and slowly drifted off to sleep. Unknowing of Dream, A6d smiled as he looked at the other.

"You're welcome..." He replied quietly.
