Skeppy woke up at around 7:00am to a bright light shining through his window and curtains. As the sun awoke, so did the blue-eyed boy. He sat up, rubbed his eyes and stretched before standing and walking out of his room and into the living area. He looked at the kitchen, walking over to it and trying to see if there was anything he remembered how to make.

He opened up the cabinets, then a cold box storing perishable items. Suddenly, he remembered something.

"Cereal!" He said with a gasp, The easiest thing he could make, as he remembered.

He smiled at his memory and went to making it. After a few minutes he finished with stars in his eyes and his hands on his hips, staring proudly at his creation. He picked up the bowl and sat on their couch, eating the food. After this, he decided to look through his schedule to pass the time while waiting for Bad to wake up.

Around 30 minutes later

Skeppy had moved on to doodling on some paper he had found throughout the dorm. When Bad finally woke up, he was continuing to doodle whatever came to his mind.

Bad yawned and stretched as he walked out of his room and into the living area. "Nnngh- morning Skeppy." He said.

"Good morning Bad!" Skeppy said with a smile and peppy attitude, stopping his doodling and facing his friend.

"Well, you're happy. Anything happen?" Bad asked curiously.

"Something did happen actually!" He said, grabbing his empty bowl and standing up. "I remembered how to make something!" Skeppy said excitedly.

"Oh wow!" Bad said happily, a memory flashing through his head as he blinked. "Cereal?"

Skeppy gasped, "You remember too!? Maybe we'll get our memories back soon." he said.

"Maybe," Bad said with a smile. "For now, we should explore! Want to go out into the kingdom??" he asked.

"Oh sure!! Let's go!!" Skeppy said with excitement, running to the door only to be stopped by Bad grabbing his wrist.

"Wait!" Bad yelled, gripping his friend's arm. "We need our ID Cards, remember?"

"Oh yeah." Skeppy said, laughing a bit in embarrassment before coming back towards the center of the room. Bad let go of his wrist as he went to his bag, grabbing his ID Card and shoving it in his pocket.

Bad did the same, grabbing the dorm keys as well as he headed towards the door. "Now we can leave" He said, opening the door and letting skeppy through as he walked through as well. He turns around, locking the door carefully before heading out into the kingdom, excited for the day ahead.

About an hour later

The two boys were seen walking together as they trekked through the busy street. Skeppy and Bad weren't paying much attention to the crowd before they locked eyes with a certain boy. His bright green eyes seemed to pop out within the crowd before he was blocked from view seconds later. A shiver filled the two's spines but they shook it off, continuing with their day.

"So..." Bad started, trying to break the now-tense silence. "Do you know you have this thing called heterochromia? You have two different colored eyes, it's really cool!" he said.

"Wait, what??" Skeppy asked in surprise.

"Your eyes are a bright blue and a dark brown! Or.. maybe black?" Bad said, looking at his friend and squinting to focus as he was questioning the non-blue color, backing away after a few seconds. "Is that not normal?" he asked.

"I don't... think, it's normal?" Skeppy said with a questioning look.

"Huh. Weird." Bad said

"How do you even know that word, anyways?" Skeppy asked.

"I don't know, I just do.. i guess. Maybe its like uh... a memory leak!" Bad answered.

"Memory leak?" Skeppy questioned, cracking a smile.

"Yeah! When some of our knowledge from before we lost our memories is leaked into our current minds!" Bad said, proud of his new term.

"Hm, okay. That makes sense." Skeppy said, "I guess we should have our own terms for this weird stuff."

"You like it, then??" Bad asked, like a child seeking their parents' praise or approval.

"Mhmm" Skeppy nodded, a small smile making it's way onto his face from the childish-ness of his friend.

Bad smiled, going on to talk about all the other terms they could use for their situation. Skeppy listened intently the whole time, a soft smile on his face.

Around 2 hours later

-----

After walking around and exploring for a couple hours, the two decided to go to a nearby cafe to eat and test out their new cards. They walked into the cafe, skeppy running and picking a window seat as Bad went to order the food and drinks they had agreed on at the counter. Though their knowledge was very limited, they seemed to be able to remember a few items that would be made in a cafe. After ordering, Bad went to their booth and sat in the side across from Skeppy, smiling in excitement at this new experience.

After a few minutes of waiting, their orders were served. Skeppy had ordered a white mocha latte and a batch of waffles. Bad had ordered a normal sweet coffee with a muffin. More specifically, a gluten free muffin. For some odd reason, he was compelled to order with that addition.

They began to eat and drink their food, seemingly very happy with the taste.

"It's so goooood!~" Skeppy said, practically drooling over his waffles.

"I know right! This coffee is amazing too!" Bad replied, stars in his eyes from excitement. "There's no way every cafe is this good, right??"

"If they are, i'm eating at cafes more often." Skeppy answered, laughing.

"We shouldn't eat out too often though, we have to eat healthy too." Bad added, holding his finger up and pointing it to Skeppy as if to scold him.

"What are you, my mom?" Skeppy said with a smirk, a bit of a teasing tone in his voice.

"Nooo! I'm a good friend here to keep you happy and healthy!" Bad said in defense.

Skeppy smiled a bit with a chuckle.

"Thanks, Bad."
