{Start of the 'Winter Festival' Arc}
A few days later, it was now much colder. The teachers had begun to teach fire and general heat magic so the students who are sensitive to the cold could stay warm. Two of these people being Bad and Skeppy who we're extremely thankful for this to say the least.
Skeppy picked up on the spells faster than Bad, but he used this knowledge to teach his friend how to perform the spells as well. In time, Bad caught on and figured out how to do it just as good as Skeppy.
As the days went on, the air became colder, and talk of a festival coming to the kingdom drifted through the ears of everyone. Curiosity got the best of Bad as he went to the only person he knew would know what was happening, plus someone he knew the location of. He walked through the building, coming to a familiar room. He opened the door to be greeted by the one he was looking for gazing out the window.
"Headmaster!" Bad said, trying to get her attention.
The woman turned around, a smile appearing on her face as she saw the boy. "Badboyhalo dear, its a pleasure to see you. What do you need?" She asked.
"Nice to see you too, headmaster. And, umm.." Bad stopped for a second, thinking of how to say it. "I heard about this Winter Festival.. What is it exactly?" He asked.
"Oh, that. Basically, the academy and kingdom work together 4 times a year for seasonal festivals! Mages and party planners work together to put on shows and other events. Most students go and tend to enjoy it a lot" She spoke.
"Oh okay, thank you. I'm sorry for bothering you!" Bad said, turning around a waving as he began to walk out.
"No worries," She smiled. "Come to me whenever you need. You and your little friend Skeppy are always welcome to ask me for help."
Bad smiled, pausing for a moment. "Thank you, it means a lot.." He said before walked out and closing the door behind him.

Back at the dorm

Bad ran into the dorm with excitement, slamming the door open as he turned to the surprised Skeppy on the couch.
"Bad?? What's wrong???" Skeppy asked in confusion, sitting up.
"Skeppy! I bought us some tickets to that Winter Festival thing! I asked the headmaster and she told me that it has a ton of fun games and activities!" Bad replied, a bright smile on his face as he rambled on in excitement.
"Oh uh- cool? I thought you were hurt or something" Skeppy said with a sigh of relief and some awkward laughter.
"No, i'm fine! Besides the cold." Bad assured the other, walking over to the couch and sitting down next to him.
"Well, i'm glad. Want a blanket?" Skeppy asked, turning to the other and scooching to give him more room.
"Sure." Bad replied.
Skeppy nodded, getting up and going into his bedroom, coming back with a large fluffy blanket, He sat down next to Bad, a little closer this time, and threw the blanket over the both of them.
"Who said you could share the blanket with me?" Bad asked with a playful smirk.
"I did when i was the one who got you the blanket" Skeppy said, returning the playfulness in his tone of voice. The shorter boy adjusted himself to sit farther on the back of the couch, sitting cross-legged with his feet and legs sat on the furniture as well.
Bad moved himself to sit farther back as well, this resulting in the two of them being even closer than before. "Fine then, but don't think this was my decision!" Bad replied as he leaned his head on the other's shoulder.
"I won't. I mean, it's just a side effect of the blanket sharing anyways." Skeppy said, sinking into the couch.
"Yep." Bad said, closing his eyes.
"mhmm." Skeppy replied.
The two sat there in silence and after a few moments, fell asleep. The day had been tiring because of the multitude of tests they had. But now, they had some time to relax and warm up.
They did have a big day ahead of them.
