Months later, the team was still recovering from the news. They didn't know what to do with themselves. The God hunters haven't come back since that day, they honestly didn't know if they wanted them to or not. In all honesty, they wanted revenge.
Bad became very quiet and closed off, splitting off from the team often. But, he was more open than before. It seemed like it was affecting him the most, understandably. Sometime A6d noticed Bad sneaking out of the tent late at night, going somewhere away from the camp that no one knew the location of.
One night, A6d decided to follow him. Let's see how that went.
Bad pushed himself up, looking around before quietly stepping out of the tent. A6d quickly got up after and peaked out of the tent to see where he was going. He watched as Bad scurried into the forest. A6d ran as fast and quietly as he could to catch up to his friend. He managed to keep his eyes on him and follow him all the way to the other's destination.
A6d looked at the area with wonder, a glowing willow tree, glowing particles circling around it. Bad sat at the bottom of the tree and began to speak.
"Are you out there?" He asked.
A6d's heart stopped, did he figure out that he had followed him?
"Skeppy, when will you come back... I know you're out there..." Bad spoke again, his voice cracking a bit. A6d frowned at this.
"I believed in you... I still do. I don't believe you're dead. There's no way you'd let yourself die... You know how much it'd hurt all of us... right?"
A rustling came from the surrounding area, A6d looking around to find a small squirrel as it ran up to Bad.
"Oh... Hello." Bad said, looking down at it. "What are you doing here?" he asked the small animal that was now sitting in front of him.
The squirrel looked up at Bad, tilting its head before running and diving into Bad's nearby bag. A rustling could be heard from the object.
"What are you doing..?" Bad asked the small creature, staring with confusion like A6d.
The squirrel jumped back out, dragging with it a small stuffed dog as the animal placed the toy on the other's lap.
Bad frowned as he looked at this, tears falling down his face as he picked up the stuffed animal and hugged it. "Thank you, little squirrel..."
"He is still here with me, he'll come back in his own time. For now, I have this little piece of him."

A few more months later...

The aftermath of a battle is seen. The camp is burned and charred, and in the ruins, a specific bag could be seen. Bad ran up to it, tears in his eyes as he picked up the charred stuffed animal. He held it close to him and equipped the remainder of his bag.
"Why does the world continue to do this to me..." Bad said, his voice cracking.
Cecilia walked up to him, a frown on her face as he puts her hand on his shoulder. "It'll be alright, Bad. We can fix it, I'm sure."
"That's not the same! It's not the same as how he gave it to me even if we fix it!" Bad yelled, the tears streaming down his face still. "This is all i have left of him..."
"Him?" Cecilia asked, confused.
"Skeppy! He gave me this only a few weeks before we left on our quest... He said that he thinks of it as the start of everything terrible we've had to go through and i told him he was wrong but it's starting to seem right..." Bad ranted, sobbing into his hands.
Cecilia stared in shock, 'I thought he'd be over him by now...' she thought.
"Hey..." She started looking down and away. "We all can't stay here anymore... So, you and your team are being sent to the closest village. I was assigned to come with..."
Bad stayed in silence, nodding and walking off to find the rest of his team. Cecilia followed in silence, guilt overcoming her. A voice in her head seemed to try to remind her of something that she had forgotten long ago. What that is, no one knows.
The next day, they made it to the new village. Bad never spoke, he never let go of his bag. Once they got to the village, they checked into their inn. Bad stayed in there all day, not wanting to be reminded of Skeppy by anything.
This went on for weeks, his teammates tried to get him out of the inn, but to no avail.
One day though, it worked.
In the end, they were all glad that was the day Bad left the room.
