Chapter 31 ~ Hidden Past

"A long time ago..."

[Flashback: 1001 Years ago]

A terrifying scene is shown. Fire, destruction, fighting, blood, bodies everywhere. Everyone is either fighting or running. Blood layered the ground as fire seeped into the area. 

"RUN YOU IDIOT!" A woman with deep purple eyes shouted, sprinting and shoving another woman with green eyes out of the way of a fire-ball.

"Do you come here often?" The green-eyed woman spoke with a smirk and a wink. 

"Now is NOT the time Val!" The purple-eyed woman spoke again, shoving herself up and pulling the other to her feet. "We have to run. The portal will close soon and the hunters are closing in." 

"Fine, Fine, I get it. But we better go on that date in the next lifetime, Ru." 'Val' said.

'Ru' shook her head with a laugh. "I'm sure we will. Now, let's go! We can't let them win." She spoke, running towards a glowing essence ahead. 

Another woman with Red eyes goes to block an attack, this being unnecessary as a large shield appeared in front of her. Another woman ran towards her, this time with blue and brown eyes.

"Luca!" The red-eyed woman yelled with a smile. "You're alright!" She began to tear up, embracing the other behind the shield.

"I promised I'd protect you, didn't I? I can't exactly do that while I'm dead."'Luca' said with a smile. 

"Let's go, We have to get to the portal quickly!" The red-eyed woman said, grabbing the other by the hand and pulling them towards the essence. 

"I promise to protect you in the next life too, Leia." Luca spoke again. 

'Leia' smile, a tear escaping her eye. "I don't doubt you'll succeed."

The four joined at the portal, looking at each other. 

"You all ready?" A woman spoke, walking up behind them. 

They all looked at each other and smiled, tears escaping their eyes as they linked hands and nodded. 

"Very well, step in." She spoke again. 

"Thank you, Ellowyn." Luca spoke. 

"You're very welcome. I believe in you all." 

Those were the last words heard before the four stepped into the essence, a bright white filling the air as they disappeared. 

[Present Time]

The four boys stared in shock.

"So.. So you're saying...?" Skeppy spoke.

"I believe you all are their reincarnations." The headmaster spoke.

"But, What does that mean?? What are we supposed to do? Does that mean people are hunting us because of-" Bad ranted, being interrupted by Dream.

"It'll be fine, Bad. Calm down." Dream spoke, turning to the headmaster once more. "What does this mean?"

"Well..." The headmaster started. "You'll have to pick up from where your past lives left off.

"And that is?" A6d asked.

"Defeat the god hunters." She said. "Thankfully, they left you all with a solution." 

Skeppy was hugging Bad to calm him down, then spoke, "What's the solution?" 

"Kill the leader. Before they left, they found out that the leader had implanted a seed of sorts into each of his members to strengthen their magic. But, in the end, this became his downfall when they discovered that if the source was taken away, the rest would be too." The headmaster explained.

"How do you even know all of this?" Dream asked.

"Well, I was one of Ellowyn's advisors." The headmaster said. 

Bad took a deep breath. "A-Anyways.. how can we tell who the leader is?"

"All of his army wears a black cloak, so it's difficult to tell. But he uses arrows with different effects enchanted onto them as his main weapon. That's the only way we've been able to tell so far. " She answered. 

"Seems simple enough. I think we can do it!" Skeppy said with determination.

"Yeah!" Bad agreed.

"Hold it, you two. We could barely handle that other guy. We need to train fi we expect to handle the leader." Dream said, glaring at the two.

Skeppy and Bad pouted. "I guess you're right" Skeppy said.

"I could help train you all. I'm sure others would be glad to help out as well." Vivian spoke. 

"Well then." A6d started.

"lets get to it."
