Another two days later, it was Skeppy's turn to be left alone with their friend. He did the same as A6d, pulling the chair to the window and looking out it. It was once again raining, the children were dancing and playing, jumping in puddles and having fun. A stark contrast to the mood in the room.

Skeppy seemed happy, or at least content, these past few days. But it was all a lie. Despite what everyone was telling him, he couldn't help but feel guilty for the current situation. It was all his fault! He asked to go for the walk, he never got quick help, he didn't think to use the spell sooner. It was his fault.

A tear slipped out of Skeppy's eye. He could really use Bad right now. He was always there for him, no matter what happened Bad would be there to comfort him. No matter what he always was there to comfort everyone. He was amazing, he never failed to be that.

More tears fell down his face as Skeppy put his head into his hands. What if he doesn't ever wake up?? What if he dies?? What if he'll never be there to help him again? Help all of them again?! He wouldn't know what to do with himself. It would be ALL. HIS. FAULT.

A few moments of silence passed, only sobs being heard, till Skeppy took a shaky breath.

No... He wouldn't want him to feel like this. What would he say? What would he do?

Just... Breathe.

Skeppy looked at Bad, wiping the tears from his own eyes. He wouldn't want him to feel like this.

Skeppy admired a lot about Bad. Too much to count, really. He was honestly an angel, sent to him to keep him from giving up in his worst moments. But, Skeppy's favorite thing about Bad was his comfort.

Skeppy turned away, looking back out the window and closing his eyes to think.

Bad never failed to make Skeppy smile when he needed it. Bad was always there when Skeppy needed a hug or a shoulder to lean on. He was always there when he needed advice, inspirational words, anything. He was always there to comfort him in any way he needed, any way he could.

He always had the right thing to say. Skeppy just really wished he was awake to say that now.

...

...

"Skeppy...?"

Skeppy opened his eyes quickly, turning in the direction of the familiar voice. He stared in shock "B-bad-" Skeppy started, he frowned. He didn't feel like he deserved this.

Skeppy took a deep breath and walked over to his friend, taking a few slices of bread from a bag inside. "Here, I'm sure you're hungry." He said, handing it to the other.

Bad looked at him confused, then smiled, grabbing and beginning to eat the food.

After Bad swallowed the first bite, he spoke "What... Happened?" he asked.

Skeppy sighed, "You touched a poisonous herb on our walk which sent you into a deep sleep. We're at the village we were headed to. The lead healer here gave you an antidote and booked us a room for us to stay in while we waited for you to wake up." He said with a slightly monotone voice. "You actually woke up earlier than they were expecting, too." he finished with an awkward chuckle.

"O-oh.." Bad said, frowning. "I'm sorry... I caused you all so much trouble."

"No, It's fine. It's my fault for asking you to go on the walk in the first place. Don't blame yourself for it." Skeppy said with a sad smile.

Bad stared in silence for a second, then glared at the shorter boy. He pushed himself into a sitting position and faced him directly. "If you're going to tell me that, you better follow that advice, too."

"What do you mean?" Skeppy asked, confused.

"You better not blame yourself for this either! You didn't know there would be some weird plant in that forest." Bad said sternly, continuing to glare at the other with a caring glint in his eye.

Skeppy stared at the other, not knowing what to say. His blank stare turned to a frown as he looked down and away a few moments later. "I can't help it..." He mumbled, sounding on the verge of tears.

Bad sighed and stood, his legs becoming shakey as he steadied himself after not walking for a while. After this, he walked over to the other, embracing him in a tight hug. "Stop being so much like me. It isn't healthy."

Skeppy turned to him, looking at him with a concerned face. "L-lets..." Skeppy started, taking a deep breath before continuing.

"Let's get better... together."
