One year later
It's one Wednesday morning and Katy woke up.
She sighs as she realizes it's time to get her daughter ready for school.
She stands up and then goes to her daughter's bedroom.
They had to move since Katy couldn't afford the big apartment and they were just two people.
Katy sits down next to her daughter and Maya immediately wakes up.
"Morning Mama. School?" Maya asked.
"Yeah get dressed then I'll make breakfast. Fruit okay?" Katy asked and Maya nod.
"Okay get dressed," Katy said placing a kiss on her daughter's head before heading to the kitchen.
She was definitely handling everything a lot better but she didn't know if she could say the same about her daughter.
What will happen in the end for Maya?
Her father is gone and Katy has to work so many shifts to be able to take care of the girl that she doesn't even pay attention to what she really does do.
When Maya actually does need someone she goes to the Matthews which she doesn't want to do permanently.
She wants to see how her daughter is going through life but how?
