"Maya thank goodness. Where were you?" Riley asked as Maya and Josh came through the door.
"I'm okay. I just needed some time on my own," Maya said.
"On your fifteenth birthday? We had a party planned and everything. All your friends were here," Cory said.
"I know. I just needed to... I need to tell you guys something," Maya said.
"Please let her finish talking before you freak out," Josh said as Riley looked at her best friend.

"My father didn't leave me and my mom. He died when I was three years old," Maya said.
"Why didn't you tell us?" Riley asked.
"I guess I was just afraid. I trusted Josh with it when I was ten and of course only he knew. I wanted to make sure everything is in place and I'm ready before telling you guys. I'm sorry," Maya said.
"It hurts that you didn't trust me but I can understand. I totally understand why you wouldn't want to actually tell people. Where were you today?" Riley asked.
"My dad's cemetery. I went there last year as well and told Josh so that's how he knew where to find me probably," Maya said.
"It's okay. I'm not mad but trust me in the future, okay?" Riley said and Maya nod.
