Girl Meets Disasters

Maya looked out of the window as her mother drove her to some place she never thought she actually would go to.
Her uncle's.
For the past few months all she's actually done was going to Josh's apartment every day but now she had to face something different.
Something she never had before.

"I know you would want to spend the day with Josh but he really..."
"He or his wife?" Maya asked and her mother looked at her.
"I don't know," Katy said as she stopped the car in front of a building.

Maya looked at it.
Clearly well kept so her uncle must be pretty much rolling in money.
She gave her mom a smile as she climbed out of the car.
Her mom drove off and Maya knocked on the door.

"Maya? Nice to finally meet you. I'm Julia. I've heard a lot about you," Julia said as Maya went in.
"Where's Uncle Jonathan?" Maya asked.
"On his way. Let me introduce you to your niece and nephews. Kids. This is your niece, Maya," Julia said as a boy a year older than Maya looked up at her.
"How did Mom drag her here? Dad wangs nothing to do with her or... How did he state it? Her rubbish no-good mother."
"Patrick Hart watch your mouth. My oldest. And then there is Alexander, Robert and my youngest, Sofia. Sit down. My husband will be here any second," Julia said as Jonathan came through the door.

"What is she doing here? I thought I spesifically said I do..."
"Well I am on my way. Don't bother staying in contact," Maya said as she grabbed her phone dialing a number.
"Josh? Could you please come pick me up? My uncle's. Yeah, I'll send you the location. Bye," Maya said going outside the apartment.
