"That was a waste of time," Riley said as they came out of Spanish.
"It's okay. We'll probably get better at it. Hopefully before finals," Maya said.
"You look a bit better. I was worried for a second about how you were taking it all. Especially this morning. But you seemed to have cooled down or you got some inspiration from Spanish. Whatever it was I'm happy," Riley said.
"Things will get better. I just have to try and get over myself," Maya said.
"Easier said than done and you know it," Riley said and Maya sigh.
Right at that moment her father came to her mind as Lucas and ghe others joined in.
She got reminded what kind of person he was when she was younger even if she didn't know him for very long.
She smiled as she took a deep breathe trying to figure our how to get her friends comfortable with her.
