Maya smiled as she looked over to where Josh was soundly sitting talking to his brother while Riley had no idea what was currently going on.
She exhales as she hopes nobody would ever find out but goodness knows what's going on in her head.
"I saw what he did," Auggie said as he came to Maya.
"What do you mean, Bud?" Maya asked.
"I saw how Uncle Josh kissed you," Auggie said and Maya's eyes went wide.
She exhaled as she tried to make sure the boy wouldn't do anything which could make it leak out.
"Don't tell anyone, okay?" Maya asked.
"You need to be honest with him. Please," Auggie said and Maya smiled as she gave Auggie a hug.
"I will. But maybe not today. Tomorrow I will. Sit here. The fireworks are gonna start going off," Maya said lifting Auggie next to her.
"Okay, guys. Any secrets to be revealed?" Cory said as they all stood together as the last seconds of 2015 ticked off.
"Uncle Josh kissed Maya," Auggie said as fireworks went off.
Everyone was looking at Josh while Maya gave Auggie a look.
It was over.
It was all over and nothing could change the fact that the secret was now out.
