Two years later and Maya is in the back of the Matthews car for yet another Philadelphia trip.
It's been about five years since Maya saw Joshua Matthews the last time.
She is now ten year old and already in fifty grade which is absolutely crazy and she can't believe she is already ten years old.
But Cory can't believe that his youngest son turned two last month so...
Cory stops the car in front of the big house and immediately Josh comes out.

"Peaceful ride, Cory?" Josh asked.
"With a toddler and two ten year old's? You wish," Cory said.
"Brought Maya?" Josh asked and immediately saw the young girl climbing out.

"Hey," Maya said softly taking Josh's breathe away.
"Hey. How are you?" Josh asked.
"I'm good. Auggie is asleep, Mr Matthews," Maya said.
"We'll just take the car seat in, it's fine. Josh would you mind keeping the girls busy?" Cory asked as Riley climbed out.
"Yeah, sure. Come girls," Josh said and they went to the backyard.

"Leaves!" Riley said and ran into the leaves as Maya smiled.
"Come, I want to show you something," Josh said and took Maya's hand.

The two of them climbed up into a tree as it was revealed as a tree house.
Josh opened the door and helped Maya in which amazed her.

"Come here a lot?" Maya asked.
"All the time. Just watch your step," Josh said.
"It's beautiful up here, Josh. Wish I had something like this," Maya said.
"Yeah. Don't all kids?" Josh asked.
"Probably. I don't know. My life has been different for a few years now," Maya said.
"How come?" Josh asked.
"My father... My father died when I was three," Maya said.
"I'm so sorry. It must have been bad. I can just imagine what you went through," Josh said.
"Just don't tell anyone, okay?" Maya asked and Josh gave her a hug.
"I won't," Josh said.

"Okay, I can't just sit around like this what about some music?" Topanga asked.
"Not my mom's definitely," Cory said making Josh laugh.
"What about someone sings something? Josh?" Amy asked.
"No way. My singing days are over," Josh said.
"I'll sing something. Or I can try," Maya said and Alan grabbed the guitar.
"You raise me up?"
"Perfect," Maya said and went to sit right next to Alan.

"When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence
Until you come and sit awhile with me
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up' To more than I can be
There is no life ' no life without its own good;
Each restless heart beats so imperfectly;
But when you come and I am filled with wonder
Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up' To more than I can be
So I can stand on mountains.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up' To more than I can be
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up' To more than I can be.
You raise me up' To more than I can be."

Maya smiled as she looked at Josh.
The same unique smile came across his mouth and instantly Maya felt something inside her.
But love couldn't happen at the age of ten.
She was sure of that.
Or maybe it did.
