Just in the writing mood so here's another one!

Another guard joined the one who stood before us for a good thirty minutes now "Rayne sent me to make sure you were okay Luna." He looked at me and my heart skipped a beat at the name. Luna? Was I able to even take up such a position.

Clara squeezed my hand in reassurance and I nodded assuring him I was alright "I'll let him know you are okay." He bowed his head then walked out. I looked over at April who was still looking down at her hand. Were they mates? I turned back to Clara who was looking at April to giving me a knowing expression before nodding.

I took Aprils hand and she looked up at me with watery eyes "He walked away..." She pointed out my heart aching for her. Clara quickly stood and sat on the couch beside her, April now in between me and Clara "He didn't walk away. He wasn't going to join the fight until he touched your hand.He wanted to protect you." Clara explained April shaking her head "Or he did it to get away from me." She mumbled causing me to squeeze her hand to get her to look over at me and when she did I shook my head "Don't jump to assumptions." Clara spoke sternly and April eventually nodded.

I could still see she was thinking about it but she had to understand she couldn't jump to conclusions "She's right." The woman who was yelling at Quin before spoke up. We looked at her as she sat straight her chin up "Don't jump to conclusions." She added looking over at the girl beside her

"I am Valerie and this is my daughter Holly." She introduced themselves and Clara smiled at her "I am Clara, this is April and this-" Valerie cut Clara off as she looked my way "The Luna, Sierra." She finished off the sentence and she bowed her head "Word has gotten out, rumors have spread." She explained causing me to scrunch up my eyebrows in confusion "We haven't had a Luna in a very long time. You're probably what this pack needs." Valerie explained herself Holly nodding and sitting up "It's true. You have brought hope to this pack.

We all appreciate Alpha Rayne he has won us many wars and has kept us safe. But affection, love, someone who cares is what we're missing." Holly explained looking over at the guard as he tensed "Too much violence." She whispered looking down at her feet.

Valerie pulled Holly into a side hug and sniffled "Forgive us. We recently lost my husband to the previous fight." Valerie explained my heart aching at this news. I assume many have lost their loved ones due to constant wars.

I nibbled on my bottom lip and stood extending my hand out to her. Valerie looked at it then up into my eyes before settling her hand in mine. I gave it a reassuring squeeze and she smiled "We are thankful to have you Luna." Valerie admitted. We were all brought out of our thoughts as loud growls were heard from inside the gates "Rayne!" West exclaimed and my heart quickly dropped.

My eyes widened and I rushed out the guard attempting to hold me back. My eyes widened at the scene before me... Rayne was full of blood struggling to stand "You're weak!" The rouge exclaimed angrily "Your own mate fears you!" The rouge continued to insult. His eyes met mine and tears slid down my cheeks. No... I could tell his words were hurting him more the wounds he was inflicted with. I started to tremble as Clara came to my side and hugged me "Come inside Sierra please." Clara insisted a fresh batch of her own tears sliding down her cheeks.

My heart pounded as the rouge went to sink his teeth into Rayne's neck "RAYNE!" I screamed covering my face with my hands as sobs erupted from me...
