I could walk on my own now and I felt confident but I was still nervous. Ian stopped at the door and nodded to Clara and April "We will be back. Marshall you can come in because you are part of the pack warriors." He explained Clara and April nodding in understand as they took a step back.
I let out a breath as Ian opened the doors and we walked in. I analyzed the place and I swear my heart stopped... There were about six tables filled with men and woman "They're all pack warriors." Ian informed Marshall nodding in confirmation.
I nodded and looked around as everyone was now looking at us. West was the only one standing looking at us confused "Sierra, you should be resting." West pointed out as we walked over to him "I came because I should know what's going on." I explained Marshall looking down at me in surprise. Shoot, my confidence even took me off guard.
West looked hesitant as he shook his head "Sierra, you are still hurt. Plus, you don't know exactly what's going on." He explained Ian budding in "Inform her then. You were alpha again once Rayne was thrown into confinement, but as soon as Sierra woke up... She was automatically in charge. She is Luna." Ian spoke sternly and West looked at me then back at him "The pack was never ran by a Luna before." West reminded my heart aching at the reminder that his wife had died "Then it's about time." I pointed out West letting out a breath before nodding.
He stepped aside and they all sat. It took me a second to turn but eventually I was facing them "She's in charge?" I heard murmuring begin and Marshall gave me a pained expression but Ian seemed confident in me still "She could barely speak now she's in charge?" I over heard closing my eyes "Just move aside Sierra I can take it fr-" West began to speak but a loud growl escaped me causing him to sit back down and the whole room to grow silent "No." I shot my voice a lot more authoritative now as I scoped the room "I could care less what you think of me." I spat trembling as my wolf grew angrier and angrier.
Suddenly the doors open and in came five men in black cloaks "A pack meeting, and we weren't invited?" One boasted chuckling. West growled "You aren't invited." He shot standing beside me. I analyzed them and it was then that I realized they were the council members. Kill them. My wolf urged but I held myself back knowing that wouldn't help out the situation "Why? We are part of the pack until in this case the Luna decides to banish us." Another one explained and they knew I couldn't do such a thing "Oh how I would love to do worse." I shot West chuckling as everyone smirked at my remark "Take a seat." I ordered them, they looked at me star struck West tensing and looking my way "Our plans are against them, why should they attend?" West asked but I simply waved him off "Just relax. I know what I'm doing." I assured looking at him. He nodded and sat back down.
I cleared my throat and shook my head "No, no council members please sit in the front." I spoke venomously and they hesitated "But there is no room..." One pointed out. I looked over at the table beside me "Would you mind moving for the amazing council members?" I asked sarcastically causing them to nod and stand "Here, more then enough room. Right beside me." I pointed out putting my hands together.
As they made their way to the table I scoped the place again my eyes meeting Ian's and Marshall's wicked smiles plastered on their lips. I inched closer to the council members "What are your names?" I asked my wolf begging to surface to rip their heads off... "I am James, this is Aaron, Ron, Austin, and Troy." James introduced all of them and I nodded "Nice to meet all of you." I stepped back in the middle and let out a breath. Where did all this confidence come from...
I felt out of place but I refused to back down from this. They wouldn't win, they wouldn't keep my mate from me any longer.
