Chapter 50

Sierras POV
I felt Rayne suddenly move but I didn't bother waking up until I felt him force my body down so that I was laying on my back. My eyes shot open and I looked down to see Rayne hovering over me, he was looking down at my stomach and when he looked up I was greeted with dark black eyes "He won't get near my family..." He growled protectively and my eyes widened.

He rested his forehead against my stomach and after I shook off my shock state I placed my hands on his head and let out a breath. I was pregnant? In the middle of all of this? I stroked his hair and I smiled slightly at the thought of little Rayne's running around.

Rayne looked up at me and smiled as he moved upward and gave me a passionate filled kiss "Let's go to Dr.Ross so she can check you out okay?" Rayne suggested and stood. I sat up and placed my hand on my stomach, how couldn't I have not figured it out? I should have felt him or her right?

Rayne washed away all my thoughts as he kissed my forehead then my lips "Stop thinking about it and let's go." He mumbled. I tensed as I started to feel as though something was wrong. I couldn't move, I couldn't speak I just looked down at my hands over my stomach and tried to figure out exactly what it was... Rayne sat beside me and took my hands "Baby what's wrong?" He asked raising my chin so I could finally look at him

"I-I don't know..." I admitted tears suddenly sliding down my cheeks "Come on." He scooped me up and carried me down to the pack hospital "Dr. Ross." Rayne spoke up as she attended to Luca "Oh is everything okay?" She asked looking at me "Oh honey it looks like you're about to faint." She pointed out ushering Luca off the hospital bed and into a near by chair.

Rayne laid me down and have Dr.Ross a worried expression "She's pregnant..." He informed Dr.Ross's jaw dropping at the news "Oh honey that's great!" Dr. Ross squealed in excitement. I giggled and nodded "Can you leave the room." Rayne suddenly mumbled to Luca and he quickly stood and walked out.

I turned to Dr. Ross as Rayne closed the door and I let out breath "I feel like something's wrong." I admitted Dr. Ross nodding and pulling my shirt up midway. She spread a gel on my stomach before putting some sort of machine to my stomach "A sonogram so we can see the baby." She informed pointing over to a screen.

I was surprised to see three small dots "Three..." Dr. Ross didn't seem to sound too happy about it so I looked up at her confused "Is that bad?" I asked Rayne standing and rubbing the back of his neck "I was really hoping I only heard two..." He muttered looking at Dr.Ross as she nodded.

I tensed and sat up completely straight "Can you two tell me what's going on." I demanded angrily. Dr. Ross placed the machine down on the table and took off her gloves "Luna's can only carry one to two pups at a time." She informed my eyes widening "To make sure that if its a boy, it is next to be alpha and if it's a girl she will be Luna..." She trailed off and looked at Rayne "Even having two is a stretch... Because there's a possibility of both pups coming out boys or girls... And it can lead up to a fight till death in the future and whoever wins gets the position of Alpha or Luna." Rayne explained my heart aching.

What? "Usually Luna's get rid of one to prevent this from happening." Dr. Ross informed. My eyes widened as Rayne growled and took Dr.Ross by the neck and pinned her to the wall "Don't you ever speak of killing any of my pups!"

He yelled angrily "Rayne let her go!" I demanded standing and grabbing the arm he was using to hold Dr.Ross against the wall but I was caught off guard as he pushed me back and I fell on my butt "Rayne!" West exclaimed "Ian! Michael! Come in here now!"

West ordered helping me up and pulling me out of the room. Sadness overwhelmed me as I began to cry... He just pushed me... Would I really have to get rid of my pups...?
