Sierra's POV

It took Rayne a little to convince me to leave but he was right.. All of this was stressing me out and I didn't want to harm my pups.

I stood and when I stepped out into the hallway Luca and April were standing there April looking at Luca with wide eyes "I can't be your mate." She pointed out stepping away from him

"What's going on?" I asked approaching them "T-This man says I'm his mate Sierra." April informed me looking at Luca as though he had three heads "What?" I questioned looking at Luca with the same expression.

"I feel it..." He explained going to grab April's hand but she quickly snatched her hand away "Stay away from my mate..." Marshall's voice sent chills down my spine as I turned to see him in a way I've never seen him before... He was panting his eyes black and settled on Luca.

A loud growl erupted from Marshall, not as powerful as Rayne's but it was enough to cause me to flinch. Soon Rayne, Ian and West rushed out the meeting room just in time to see Marshall lunging at Luca... I stood in the way and I froze... Rayne quickly ran to me and pinned me to the wall just in time as Marshall ran passed us.

Rayne shielded me with his body and looked over as Ian moved April out of the way "Marshall stop!" Rayne ordered with his alpha tone causing Marshall to stop just inches from Luca. Luca stepped back and looked up at Marshall since he was taller, broader and way stronger.

April struggle to get out of Ian's grip as he held her back from going to Marshall "Rayne this guy says I'm his mate." April informed Rayne looking at Luca with a confused expression as he stepped away from me and walked over to them. I rushed to Marshall and looked up at him "Baby stay away form him.

The only thing stopping him from going wild is my order." Rayne warned and I reluctantly stepped back "What are you trying to pull?" Rayne asked angrily causing him to shake his head "N-No. There must be a mistake..." Luca started to ramble before looking over at April causing Marshall to growl.

"Don't look her way!" Marshall warned angrily. Rayne looked over at Marshall then back at Luca "Don't look at her." Rayne advised causing Luca to nod "I feel it... I feel the pull." Luca explained causing Rayne to tense then look at Marshall.

"Stay calm. I'm going to let him touch her hand... If she feels something then.. We will take this to Jim okay?" Rayne compromised and Marshall eventually crossed his arms and his gaze fell to the ground. April on the other hand didn't want anything to do with it "Keep that filthy rouge away from me!" April yelled kicking causing Luca to step back away from her "He can't even handle her attitude." Marshall spat angrily causing me to giggle.

Rayne shot me a stern look and I covered my face with my hand pretending I didn't laugh causing West and Ian to chuckle "Babe just let him." Marshall muttered. We all watched tentatively as Luca approached April and she extended her hand out.

Marshall tensed as Luca took her hand. April gasped and looked down at his hand. Marshall growled and suddenly Luca was thrown down the hallway until his back hit the end of the hallway and he slid down groaning in pain "Marshall." Rayne scolded and Marshall scoffed turning to April and cupping her cheeks.

April let out a relieved sigh and snuggled into his arms now that Ian let her go "She would have felt disgusted when Marshall touched her if Luca was her mate." Rayne pointed out "Trust me I know." He mumbled causing my eyes to widen "Excuse me?" I approached him and he smacked his teeth rubbing his temples.

"Can we speak about this later please?" Rayne suggested pecking my lips. I let it go for now because we needed to get this straightened out... "Rayne..." I whispered "If he was her mate... Wouldn't he have retaliated when Marshall attacked him?" I pointed out causing Rayne to scrunch his eyebrows and look Luca's way who was being helped up by Michael and Ian.

"You're right." He mumbled before looking at Marshall "To Jim's." Rayne ordered, but I could hear the tiredness in his voice... We just never got a break.
