The den San had found ended up being perfect.
Seonghwa kept his arm wrapped protectively around Wooyoung the entire time as San made sure to scent all around the entrance of the cave, hoping it would ward off any alphas that may try to approach.
When he was done, he turned to them and gave a tense smile. "Remember to howl. Hopefully five miles will be far enough away to not pose a threat with your heat." He sounded just as nervous as Seonghwa felt.
"Thank you San." The older said, bowing his head in respect.
Wooyoung just let out a soft whimper as he swayed in place. It was time.
The alpha nodded in understanding and jogged away to shift in the bushes before heading back to Jongho.
Seonghwa led Wooyoung further back into the den, wanting to be as far away from the entrance as possibly. He quickly set up the few blankets they had and pulled Wooyoung down into his lap. The young omega already felt so warm.
"Deep breath baby." He whispered, gently rubbing Wooyoung's back. "I'm going to help you through this like you helped me."
Wooyoung nodded and moved so he could press his nose to Seonghwa's stomach.
He hated seeing the younger in so much pain...
His heat was in full swing by the end of the day. Seonghwa didn't remember much of his, but he didn't think he begged for a knot quite as much as Wooyoung started to.
It made him think that San scenting the cave was a bad idea.
Wooyoung would curl up in a ball, holding his stomach, while whining over and over.
Seonghwa eventually stripped him from his clothes and would run his hands all along his body, trying to sooth him.
His wolf urged him to do more to comfort the boy, often pointing out that there were two alphas only a howl away.
But he would push it away every time.
On the second day, when Wooyoung started to get a little louder, Seonghwa started trying to figure out what he could do.
One idea kept popping into his mind, but he was almost too scared to try. Not to mention the fact that his wolf hated the idea... Plus he had no idea how Wooyoung and his wolf would take it.
But he didn't know what else to do. His heart kept breaking while watching his love cry out in pain. How had Wooyoung sat through this?
When night fell, Seonghwa gave himself a quick pep talk and scolded his wolf several times, then he leaned over Wooyoung and gently played with his hair.
"Woo? Baby?" He said, leaning forward to kiss his cheek a couple of times.
The younger turned his face away for a second, then opened his eyes and looked up at Seonghwa. "H-Hwa?"
"How are you feeling?"
Wooyoung managed a weak smile and rolled his eyes. "Very f-funny." He said with a groan.
Seonghwa chuckled and kept kissing his cheek. "I want to try something." He whispered, then smiled when he felt Wooyoung shiver. "Do you trust me?"
"Y-Yes..." Wooyoung looked at him with big, round eyes that kept flashing between a honeyed brown color and bright gold.
Taking a deep breath, Seonghwa grabbed his chin and tilted his head a little more to connect their lips.
Wooyoung let out a sound of surprise and started to pull back, but Seonghwa knew that was the younger's wolf, because his was practically screaming at him to do the same thing.
