"Jongho, wait!"

San can barley finish his sentence before Jongho runs to the edge of the forest, shifting and ripping his clothes. San watches as his tan wolf disappears into the woods, and he curses under his breathe as he strips and shifts as well. Jongho even cut off their pack link, so San can't even tell him to stop and wait for him.

He easily picks up on Jongho's nutmeg scent, riddled with hints of distress and anger. He follows it all the way to the edge of the pack territory, and he whines as he sees Jongho sitting alone in his human form, his head hung low and his scent clouded in sadness.

San shifts and doesn't bother to dress himself, coming up to Jongho and sitting beside him. He doesn't speak, simply laying his head on Jongho's shoulder. The alpha sighs, moving so he can bury his nose in San's hair and inhale his smokey scent.

"I know you're upset, but we have to forgive them."

"No we don't, they lied to us. Wooyoung lied me to. He lied to you too, both of them put us in danger and we didn't even know. We could just leave them here and go back on our own." San huffs, but he reaches down and laces his fingers with Jongho's, rubbing his thumbs across his alpha's knuckles.

"I know, I'm upset too. But you have to understand..he's the heir to Blue Star, that's not something you can just tell everyone you meet." Jongho doesn't comment, so San continues. "I'm not telling you to go and forgive them immediately, but just give them a chance. And we still made them a promise, and I intend to keep that. They didn't say they didn't need us anymore, so even if I don't have to pretend to be Seonghwa's alpha anymore, I'm still gonna protect him. Just like you're gonna protect Wooyoung."

Jongho sighs, and leans his head down to connect his forehead with San. "I hate that you're right." San grins, and leans in to connect their lips in a kiss. Jongho sucks in a breathe through his nose as he deepens it, moving to hover over San as the other alpha submits to him.

A deep rumble fills his chest as he scents San's neck, the alpha under him whining slight when he starts to kiss on his scent glade.

But when San makes a move to stroke Jongho's length between his legs, his wolf takes over, screaming at him that this is wrong and to get this alpha away from him.

He growls and shoves San from underneath him, and the smaller alpha yelps as he's slid across his back and away from his lover. Jongho snarls at him, but he quickly gains control back when he sees tears filling his alpha's eyes.

"Fuck, San I'm sorry! Did I hurt you-" Jongho feels his heart shatter as San flinches and moves farther away from him, tears spilling freely down his face.

"I-It's getting dark..We should go back.." San speaks in a low, shaky voice, and he stands to collect himself, turning away from Jongho. The younger gasp when he sees a slight burn on San's back from him shoving him away, and he reaches out to stop San from leaving.

"San wait-" Jongho can't think of the words he wants to say before San is shifting, and he watches with a broken heart as his beautiful white and tan coat disappears in the trees.

"What are we gonna do, Sangie?" Mingi sighs as he rubs his still damp hair with a towel, standing by the closet in him and Yeosang's bedroom as the pregnant omega sits on the bed reading a book.

Mingi just lived through the most awkward dinner of his life, as much as Yeosang tried to make small talk to lighten up the mood, no one was very talkative. Wooyoung kept glancing over at Jongho, looking as if he was going to cry at any given moment. Seonghwa held his hand the entire time, not saying a word to anyone. San and Jongho sat as far away from each other as they could, so Mingi suspects they must have had a falling out. Hongjoong and Yunho tried to act normal, but the both of them kept staring at their plates and only spoke when asked a question.

Wooyoung offered to clean the kitchen, and Yunho helped. As soon as they were finished, Seonghwa and Wooyoung asked the alphas if they were coming to bed as well, but the both of them just mumbled that they'd be sleeping on the couch. Wooyoung stared at the ground defeated, and him and Seonghwa disappeared into the bedroom for the rest of the night.

"All we can do is wait and see what tomorrow brings, there's nothing that can change that happened today. But we can change what happens tomorrow." Mingi rolls his eyes at his mate's answer, and after he dresses for bed he comes to lay with his mate. "I know that, but it's just so much to process. Seonghwa is the heir to a pack that might as well be considered a kingdom. Plus he's mated to Wooyoung..Another omega."

"There's nothing wrong with that, Min. Yes it's different then what we're used to but they're both people with feelings. They just happened to fall for each other." Mingi grins at his omega's passionate and firm tone, and he leans up to steal a kiss, laughing when Yeosang whines and tells him to move.

"You're right, I just need time to get used to the concept. Same for Hongjoong and Yunho, I know they feel terrible about what happened.."

Hongjoong told Mingi privately through their link that Yunho feels awful about how they treated Wooyoung, and the beta even tried to apologize to Wooyoung while they cleaned, but he simply said it was fine and continued to wash the dishes. "I know, but they'll grow past this. We just have to wait."

Yeosang places his book down on his nightstand, 'What to expect during pregnancy and labor. A guide for male omegas.'

As Yeosang reaches over to turn off his bedside lamp for bed, he suddenly gasp and hold his stomach.

"Sangie?! Are you alright? You're not in labor, right? You're only five months-"

A moment of realization dawns on the both of them. In mist of all the chaos, the expecting couple completely forgot that today Yeosang is officially five months pregnant. The omega smiles at his alpha, taking his large hand with his tiny one and gently placing it on his stomach. "I know what our baby is, Mingi."

"Y-You do? What are they?"

Yeosang sniffs and reaches up to wipe a tear from his eye. "It's a boy."

Mingi smiles, so wide that he can feel his cheeks starting to hurt as he leans down and pulls Yeosang's shirt up to pamper kisses on his bump. "Hello, my little prince. This is your daddy, I hope you're doing good in the baby bakery." Mingi laughs as Yeosang smacks his forehead, "You're mom is mad at me, so I'll cut this short, but I love you a lot. You're the best thing to happen to me."

Mingi crawls back up Yeosang's body, giving his mate sweet kisses all over his face before giving him a final kiss on his lips. "And you too. I love you."

Yeosang grins and gives his alpha a kiss back, "I love you too. Now get off me and go to bed." Mingi grabs his heart and pretends to be hurt at his omega's tone, but he grins once Yeosang turns off the light and  tucks himself into his side, caging his bump between their bodies.

"Goodnight, Sangie."

"Goodnight, Min."
