"If I grew an apple, it'd be edible, right?"

I don't know a lot about hot springs, I'm trying my best. Sorry in advance for that :| ))

"Well, I guess we kinda deserve a trip to the Hot Springs."

"So, we'll meet here tomorrow?" The team nodded. But it felt kinda weird, all they did was walk. They did walk far, but they've done that before. At least Kakashi might find out what Sakura's planning, and at least Sakura might be able to continue her investigation.

"I'm getting kind of nervous wondering what they've planned," Yamato said.

"Have I gone to the hot springs with you before? I don't remember-"

"You don't remember the towels?" Kakashi laughed.

"The towels, oh! I remember that." They laughed together. Of course he remembered, it was after one of their missions, Yamato's first time at the hot springs. They were messing around with the towels, slapping each other. Soon, it turned into an all-out war.

"Then I challenge you, to another towel war."

"I accept." They shook hands and parted ways.

Another Time Skip

The team met up and walked together. It still felt weird to reward themselves for nothing, it felt really wrong. But that didn't mean Yamato was gonna pass up the offer of fighting of his senpai with a wet towel. He could help but drift off to grass again. To be fair, it was everywhere. This was Leaf grass, not Grass grass or regular grass. Leaf grass. And he supposed the leaves on the tree weren't Grass leaves, or regular leaves, but Leaf leaves. Nevertheless, he still probably wouldn't make much money selling grass and leaves. That's when it dawned on him: he could grow leaves. Of course! Sell what he grows, by himself.

"Senpai," Yamato said.

"Yes, Tenzo."

"Stop calling me Tenzo."

"Alright, Yamato, what's up?" Yamato blushed as he realized his question was really dumb.

"Um, if I grew an apple, it would be edible, right?"

"Are you... are you gonna do that?" Yamato grew an apple and examined it. He poked it, he sniffed it, he even licked it before taking a big bite out of it. "How does it taste?"

"It tastes like an apple, but not a very good one."

"We'll just have to wait till morning to see if it worked out alright." Yamato covered his mouth and soon, they got to the bathhouse.

"See you later, Sakura," they all said, stepping into the locker room (or whatever that room is called) and put their stuff down. It was a medium sized hot spring so the showers were separated from the actual bath area. This meant the perfect battle arena for towel wars. But Kakashi and Yamato were men, now, not children. They had to be discreet and make sure they didn't slip. Sakura slipped into the hot water. She was alone there, so it was safe to spy on the boys. She just had to be discreet about it.

"Alright, I just have to be very quiet, and listen," she said, leaning against the wall as close as possible.

"Hey, Sai, do you know where the others are?"

"You mean Yamato Taichou and Kakashi Sensei? I think they're still in the showers."

"Really? They're taking kind of long."

"Yeah." Sakura rubbed her hands together. "It's all coming together, now." Meanwhile, Kakashi and Yamato were still technically in the showers washing off that mission residue and Grass grass. Soon, they were done.

"Oi, Senpai." Yamato jumped in front of Kakashi with his towel secure with wooden clothing pins.

"Hey, that's not fair. I need some, too." He carefully fastened the towel on with the pins and reached for a wet towel. "Ready?" Yamato nodded, towel in hand. Kakashi nodded and the battle began.
