I think we've gotten past the point of warnings, already. Two titles, two perspectives. Unedited.

They ran deep into forests, and settled on the ground. Tenzo closed his eyes and felt the cold, soft grass graze his bare face. It felt naked without his hitai-ate. He allowed his mind to drift off to the time when all he had to worry about was his grass. Farmer Tenzo's World Famous Grass, and Farmer Tenzo's World Famous Apples.

"What's wrong? Is regret settling in already?" Kakashi chuckled. What would I do without you, Tenzo? Where would I be today?  He shuddered to wonder who he'd be with. Gai? No, he's not... Maybe some random village lady... Too ordinary. Sakura's too busy chasing Sasuke... And she's too young, definitely...

"I miss our adventures with Team 7."

"The missions? Or the misadventures?"

"Both, and everything in between. I hate being sick."

"Yeah. But, we just escaped the hospital. Shouldn't we be doing stuff we aren't supposed to be doing right now?" Tenzo laughed and snatched his book away.

"We're not doing this," He said, and threw it to the side. Kakashi gasped dramatically and squeezed Tenzo. He leaned down into his ear (because he knows Tenzo loves that).

"Let's do whatever you wanna do," He breathed, making Tenzo squirm. Tenzo hummed, considering the potential of Kakashi's offer.

"Kiss me."

"You've gotta be kidding. I went through so much trouble to get a kiss from you, and now you're asking for it? That doesn't sound fair." Yamato pouted and yanked Kakashi's mask down. He laid on top of him, sort of tangled on his grasp, deep in the forest on the soft grass.

They must've been completely into it or something, because they didn't notice Sai staring at them.

"Senseis, what're you doing?" Panting like dogs, the two jonin turned to see a curious Sai, fortnately all by himself.

"CPR training."

"You never know when you might need it."

"Ah. Can I join?"

"No."

"Why're you guys sweating?"

"Sparring."

"And CPR? At the same time? Is that a new training tactic?"

"Sure."

"And I see you need a partner. Could you teach me?"

"No."

"I wonder if Naruto would like to partner up..." Tenzo snorted. Just don't ask Sakura, he thought. Kakashi cleared his throat.

"Anyways, Sai. If you could leave us alone to our training..."

"Sorry to have bothered you, Senseis. Oh, Lady Tsunade was requesting you come back to the hospital immediately."

"Tell her we're busy." Sai nodded and walked to the hospital.

"Kakashi, now Tsunade will really have our heads."

"Yeah, but right now, I wanna train some more."

"Me too." For a moment, all the worry and regret and thoughts of grass and apples left Tenzo's busy mind. It was because of moments like these that he thanked Kami-San he had found his home. Yet a little Tenzo huddled up in the corner of his mind, wondering if he would miss Kakashi's teasing. That day, they either hid really well, or everyone else just gave up on them. It was probably the latter, because the next day, Sai was back with their medicine.
