"Hokage-Sama..."

"Yes, Yamato?"

"I would... I would like to thank you for what you said, the other day."

"Well, Yamato, we're family, aren't we?"

"I'd like to think so."

"But you didn't, did you?"

"No. I thought I had no family."

"Well, you didn't. But then you found us, and we found you." As soon as the last word rolled off her tongue, a flower sprouted from Yamato's hair, making Tsunade laugh.

"Why are you telling me now?"

"I don't want you to follow Kakashi because he's your only home, because he's not. I'm here, and so are so many more people."

"Hokage-Sama, do you think Kakashi Senpai is a bad influence on me?"

"Depends if you'd be influenced by his bad characteristics, or his good ones."

"Hokage-Sama, we're dating." Tsunade pushed off the table she was leaning on and studied Tenzo's worried face.

"Really? For how long?"

"It'll be a month tomorrow."

"How long were you planning on keeping it secret? Or do people already know?"

"We wanted to wait for the right time, but I..."

"Am I the first to know?"

"Yes. But, Sakura's being suspicious ever since before we started dating, and I can't tell if Sai is pretending not to know, or completely clueless."

"Hm, that boy is truly clueless. I suppose you don't want me to tell anyone else, huh?"

"Yeah, if you could do that... But it'd be against the rules not to report it, wouldn't it?"

"Well, didn't you just report it to the Hokage herself?"

"Not even Kakashi knows you know." Tsunade smiled and held out her hand.

"A promise, from Senju to Senju." Tears appeared in Tenzo's eyes, but he couldn't explain why. When he didn't reach out to Tsunade's hand, she hugged him.

"T-Thank you so much, Hokage-Sama... You don't know h-how long I've waited to call someone f-family..." Emotion poured out of him like water, and he was eventually sobbing in Tsunade's shoulder. "I'm sorry, Hokage-Sama, I must look like a fool right now."

"It's okay, Yamato. I know what it feels like to be lonely, but you..."

"Hokage-Sama, thank you so much... Thank you..." She wiped the tears off of Tenzo's face.

"I don't believe I've seen you cry before," She laughed. "And hey,"

"Yes?"

"I haven't officially met your boyfriend yet. As your only family, I demand to have dinner with this boy at once!" This made Yamato laugh.

"Yes, I suppose I'd have to introduce you two."

"Hokage's orders." Yamato sniffled and wiped his face. By now, a smile had overtaken his tears.

"You're gonna scare him with your Hokage title."

"Ya know, you look like one, too."

"Like what?"
