Two years later, Sora sat in her favorite chair in the cafe. Her eyes flitted across the screen of the computer in front of her as she played. She had almost finished when the familiar golden light filled her head.
"What's up child?"
"You made me lose my game." Sora glared at the silhouette in her head, annoyed that he couldn't see her.
"That's not my problem honey."
"What are you doing up this late? Why are you still talking to me?" Sora was annoyed. He appeared almost every night for the past two years and she was sick of it. He did it at the most random times, causing her to zone out, sometimes even get in trouble at school.
Of course, her being petty made her do it right back. "I'm trying to be nice for once ok, I'm in a great mood."
"What, won a dance competition for once?"
"Won a gaming tournament yet?"
"Shut up."
"No, I got free food, and you can't have any."
"You take pride in getting free food? I work at a cafe, I get free food all the time, sucker." Sora cut off the connection before he could respond. She smiled to herself. Maybe, if she didn't hate the concept of soulmates so much, they might have gotten along. But she did, so it didn't matter.
It was 11 pm when she went home. Pretty early for her, but she had tests, and she'd rather not fail them. When she walked into her bedroom, she was greated by the sight of her older sister, sitting at her desk, going through her computer.
"Jina, what are you doing?" She looked up.
"Oh come on, it doesn't matter what I'm doing, leave me alone, I'm older."
"Jina," Sora said in a singsong voice, dragging out her sister's name. "Get off my computer."
"Mine is dead right now, and I need to use yours." Sora looked over Jina's shoulder to see a flash of a face before Jina slammed the lid of the computer shut. "Mind your own business Yoon Sora!"
Sora huffed. "Looking at your kpop boys again? Stop thirsting over our brother's friends, their off limits." Jina rolled her eyes.
"At least you're friends with them." Sora stomped over to her bed and flung herself down. Jina stanned basically the entirety of the kpop industry and Sora was just so done with Jina's ranting about how pretty and cool they were.
"I hate sharing a room with you." Jina snicked and opened Sora's computer again, filling the room with the sound of Seventeen's Don't Wanna Cry.
She smiled, slowly drifting off to sleep to the sounds of her brother's voice when her phone went off. She angrily answered, not bothering to check who was on the other end.
"What do you want?"
"Wow, no need to yell, I was just gonna ask if it was ok for me to drop by with Joshua tomorrow for dinner."
"Jeonghan, of course. You woke me up though, so I'm gonna be salty you know."
"Of course, we Yoon's must have our sleep."
"I'll see you then Hannie."
"See you then." Sora hung up.
"Was that Jeonghan?" Sora nodded.
"Go to sleep Jina."
"You're so bossy, people will start thinking you're the older one."
Did I make Jeonhan the famous sibling that is the signature of all my books? Yes, yes I did.
