Sora paced around her room. Jeonghan sat on her bed, while Jina stood by the window.
"Why don't you just tell him?" Jeonghan gazed after his sister with sorrowful eyes. "I know he loves you and if you talk it through with him-"
"I don't want him to know!" Sora's eyes flashed. "All my life I've known pity, for being the plain younger sister of two beautiful siblings, for being the outcast, the loner, the girl from a broken family, daughter of a mother with a broken soul. I don't want him to see me that way." Jina sighed.
"Sora, you have to. There is no other way to complete your bond." Sora continued pacing.
"I can't. I'm so scared, what if he leaves me?" Jeonghan stood up and grabbed Sora's hands, pulling her into a hug.
"Yeosang loves you, I'm sure of it, and he is not like our father, our grandfather, our great-grandmother. He is Kang Yeosang who loves you Yoon Sora with all his heart. And a history of failing soulmates in our family will only make him wish to love you more. I do believe in him and you. So take this chance. And if he doesn't love you after then he didn't deserve you in the first place."
Sora nodded. "Ok." She sighed. 'You have to tell him. It's the only way.' Sora walked over to her desk and pulled her shoes out from under it. "Scram, I'm going to go find him." So she went. Sora ran all the way down to KQ, up the stairs, through the halls, ignoring the looks she got from startled staff.
"Sora?" She heard his voice right before she slammed into him, almost knocking the two of them to the floor. Yeosang stumbled back, steadying Sora so she didn't fall over. "What are you doing here?"
"Yeosang we need to talk." His eyes met hers in worry. Then he nodded.
"Ok, follow me." Yeosang brought her to the roof. The two sat down and Yeosang looked over at Sora. "Are you ok?" She shook her head.
"Yeo, I want to talk to you about what the doctor said." His eyes widened.
"Oh." Sora sniffled slightly.
"I have a family history of failing soulmates, the doctor said that because of this, completing our soulmate bond could be dangerous. I understand if you don't want to do it, if you hate me, if you're mad-"
"Why? Why would I hate you, why would I be mad? I'll go through anything with you, I'm your soulmate, I promise." Sora looked up at Yeosang, then hugged him.
"I believe you," she whispered. "I believe you, I know you're willing, but I don't know about me." Yeosang frowned and pulled back from the hug, grasping Sora by the shoulders and looking into her eyes.
"What?" Sora looked away.
"I'm scared. The doctor also warned me, if I hesitate, the bond will not be complete, it will hurt us both. I'm not sure I'm ready to complete it." Yeosang nodded, moving his hands from Sora's shoulders to her face.
"I understand, and I'll wait for you." He leaned forward and kissed the top of her head. "You better be ready to go out with me though. I don't care that we aren't completing the bond, I will date the heck out of you." Sora snickered.
"Ok, tell me where you want to go." Yeosang smiled.
"I want you to go home Sora, to rest. I have work to do. Don't worry, I'll pick you up tonight, around say, 8 o'clock?" Sora nodded.
"I'll be ready."
