Sora woke to the beep of a heart monitor by her head. She felt something heavy laying on her. She looked down to see Yeosang laying his head on her shoulder, arm slung over her waist. She smiled and nudged him.

"Yeo," she whispered. He moved, shifting slowly and looking up into her eyes before shooting straight up.

"You're awake!" She nodded.

"What happened."

"It worked, we're completely bonded now, but the stress knocked you out for a couple of days." Sora raised an eyebrow.

"How long was I out?" Yeosang shrugged.

"Like a week." Sora's eyes widened.

"A week!"

"Yep. It's ok though, you're fine." Sora tried to swing herself out of bed.

"I have to get to work, my boss is going to kill me-"

"Woah, hold it. Your boss was notified, you don't need to go in. Also, you need to sleep."

"I've been sleeping for a week!"

"Sleep more!"

"No!"

"Oh my gosh you're impossible!"

"Well you love me!" A smile slowly spread across Yeosang's face.

"That's right, I do love you." He poked her in the side. "That's why I want you to sleep!" Sora snickered.

"Alright, alright, I'll sleep." She spent the rest of the day in the hospital, letting Yeosang play with her hair while watching Disney movies.

The next day she was discharged and the first thing she did was go to work. Her boss was delighted to have her back, she swept floors and delivered drinks. One of their regular kids commented on the way she looked. "Your skin is glowing Ms. Sora." She smiled.

"Thank you." She found that she looked better, she felt better, she acted better, now that Yeosang was a part of her. It was true, his conscience melded with hers and the twinges of annoyance, random boughts of anger, and savage words shared seamlessly across the distance.

They found themselves supplying comebacks when the other was lacking, boosting the other's confidence, laughing, feeling and thinking the same things. She had never felt better.

Sora expressed this to Xiaoling at her bachelorette party, which wasn't a party so much as a sleepover. The three girls piled on the couch, singing loudly and laughing. Sora kept pushing Yeosang out of her mind. "Stop eavesdropping!" He just laughed and moved more into his own mind.

"Xiao, how do you feel now that you're getting married?" She smiled.

"Well, you already know that Jun brings out the best in me, despite him being the most extra person on the planet." Meixiu scoffed.

"I'm married to a dork who likes to pretend he's cool." Xiaoling laughed.

"People wish they were you." Sora nodded.

"If you don't like him, I'm sure his fangirls will." Meixiu's eyes flashed.

"Don't even suggest that you weirdo." Sora snickered.

"Of course, only the best for my best friend." Xiaoling threw her head back.

"It seems so sweet but we all know she's talking about Hao." Sora nodded.

"Only Meixiu can measure up to my standards for Xu Minghao. He's my favorite brother." Meixiu snorted.

"Well screw Jeonghan I guess." Sora scoffed, waving her hand dismissively.

"He'll be fine." The girls laughter filled the room. Sora was safe. Sora was ok.
