It took the CEO about half an hour to call them in. Every second that passed made Sora more anxious. Yeosang could feel her heart racing and he just stroked her hair and told her it would be alright.
When they finally got in and sat down, Yeosang reached over and grabbed Sora's hand, squeezing it tightly. The CEO looked over the two of them, then nodded, pulling papers out of his desk.
"Hello, you may call me Mr. Kim, and today we'll be discussing your soulmate bond, proof of bond and how we will reveal this to public, if at all." Yeosang let go of Sora's hand and pulled up his sleeve, then grabbed her arm and displayed their tattoos side by side.
"I was hoping these would be enough proof but our soulmate bond is mental so it might be hard to show." Mr. Kim leaned over and looked at their wrists.
"It seems that they match. Have you completed your bond yet?"
Sora spoke up. "No sir, in fact, we don't know how." Mr. Kim sighed.
"You'll have to see a doctor about that, I'll see if we can make an appointment." He scribbled down something on his notepad. He then picked up a set of papers. "Until we decide to reveal that Yeosang has met his soulmate, we need you to sign this. It promises that you will not tell anyone about your relationship to him, nor will you give out information about Ateez in general that may pertain to upcoming comebacks.
"What else does it entail?" Yeosang looked concerned. "I'm not going to fake date anyone when I have my soulmate right here."
"The contract is one of secrecy, nothing more, nothing less. Trust me, I'm not that heartless, and Ms-?"
"Yoon. Yoon Sora."
"Ms. Yoon, please make sure to tell your sister that she has to come in sometime in order to sign this contract as well." Sora nodded.
"Yes sir."
"We'll contact you when we get ahold of a specialist. You may leave." They stood hurriedly, murmuring thanks, trying to leave as quickly as possible.
"I think I might throw up out of nervousness," Sora said, laughing slightly.
"It wasn't that bad," Yeosang smirked. "Well, at least if you're this scared all the time, I can protect you."
"I don't need protection, I know martial arts."
"Physically, you strong, mentally, you need a hug."
"I need all the hugs." Sora grabbed Yeosang and dramatically hung onto him. The sounds of their laughter echoed in the empty hall. Sora smiled, maybe it wasn't so bad. Maybe she was starting to get attached.
"Dang it." Sora looked up.
"What?"
"We still have to tell Seonghwa and Jina about the contract. We can't stay out, this can't wait, come on." Yeosang pulled Sora out of KQ and they raced each other down the streets. Sora thought that if this is what it felt like to be in love, she never wanted to stop.
