The Gift

Jay POV ~ 

I was on the living room floor, wrapping Nya Christmas present while she went to go spend time with her parents until Kai had walked in.

"Hey Jay, what are you doing" Kai questioned taking a bite of an apple

"Hey Kai, oh and I'm wrapping a present for Nya"

"what did you get her" 

"I got her a heart shaped necklace that has her name imprinted onto it" I said as I held it up to show him

"Really? A necklace? Jeez even I could better than that?" Kai said snotty 

"Are you challenging me" I questioned with a grin on my face

"maybe"

"oh, it's on" I said in a aggressive tone

Christmas day ~ 

Everyone are all gathered in the living room including Nya and Skylor. We had all opened all of our gifts except the ones me and Kai have gotten our girlfriends. 

"OK Skylor, It's your turn now" Kai stated as he handed her a small box. It was wrapped in a delicate blue and white snowflakes. As Skylor unwrapped her gift, it turned out to be a small black box. When Skylor opened the box, her face lit up like fireworks. She then pulled out a pair of car keys.

"You got me a new car? Thank you so much babe" Skylor said happily as she jumped onto Kai's lap.

"OK now it's your turn Nya" Cole stated then looking at me. I then got up from sitting next to Nya on the couch and stood in front of her.

"Nya you are the most independent and beautiful person I have ever met. Whenever your not around, I feel like apart of me is missing" I stated as I bent down on 1 knee

"Will you marry me" I stated as I held out a ring with a big diamond on top. I then see Nya face light up with her eyes forming tears.

"YES" Nya yelled as I slipped the ring onto her left hand and plant a kiss on her lips

"That's not fair, now you definitely won" Kai said in a irritated expression.
